Well first off I am from Chickamauga. I attended Gordon Lee from K-12. This town is a very small amazing little place. There is no room in this town for a trash business like this one……let me explain….. I have stayed here many times in the past just to get away. During hurricane Helena I booked here for one of my friends online so he could be safe from the hurricane as he lives in a bad area prone to be unsafe during bad weather. I have booked online using the exact same service many times. This hotel has just recently changed owners and management and it highly shows! When we arrived him and I went inside to get checked in. We were greeted by a young lady named Brandy who admitted to me she had never ran a hotel business before but had recently been hired. The owner came up to the desk to greet us. I do not know his name but he and his wife (or whom I assumed to be his wife) are both foreigners. It was all good till he found out that we had booked a king Suite for like $56 online. I had to bring out my receipts and the booking information to show him what we had booked online and he kept saying there was going to be an up charge on the room that I couldn’t have possibly booked a suite for that cheap. It clearly said on my receipt and booking information king suite. He reluctantly agreed. I explained to him that I had two separate bookings and he pointed to a sign on the door that said, “no online extensions” but agreed that my friend would not need to leave the hotel but he would need to come down there the next day at 3pm to get checked in again. We both agreed and then Mrs. Brandy stated they didn’t have a king suite available but was talking back and forth with who I assumed at the time to be the maintance man and told him what I had booked. As he walked off he very hateful and rudely stated that if we absolutely had to have a king suite that we should probably go somewhere else. Again I had reserved the king suite online. I should get what I paid for. I had booked this room for two separate bookings for that night and later that day I had booked it for the next night because I seen that the hurricane may be hanging out for a while. Brandy stated that the king suite had a clogged up toilet and they would be fixing that and when she called us he could change rooms. I reluctantly agreed and I helped my friend unload his stuff into the double queen suite. I politely told Brandy that she should tell the owner how hateful the maintance man was and that he should be more professional when dealing with paying customers. (Little did I know he was married to her) We heard the owner was leaving as the maintance men were saying goodbye to him and he should go home and rest while we unloaded the car. As soon as the owner left we got a phone call from the same hateful maintance person who claimed to be the manager of the hotel. He very aggressively over the phone stated that I had not paid and I needed to come down there and pay cash for the hotel in order to get the room for the night. My friend came downstairs with me. We were now both angry at this entire situation. The “manager” of the hotel very aggressively began showing both of us that there was no card information on file on the computer and that another customer had his card information on file. Mind you, I don’t know how their system works in just the customer. My friend seen his agressiveness and told him maybe he needed to call the owner or someone that knew how to do their job to come down and help him with the problem because we were getting no where. He became even more aggressive and begin doing hand gestures at my friend. My friend told him they could take it outside and the man told him let’s go. My friend told him he needed to get his attitude In check and walked outside. I took out all the confirmation stuff that clearly stated I had used a card and I pulled up my bank statements and showed him where I had already been charged for the hotel twice since I made the reservations online for that night and then later for the next night. Very disappointed... I booked online and paid online then when I got down there they didn't give me right room then charged me more money... the room was terrible blood on blanket.. black mold in bathroom... the door didn't shut all the way... won't be back...

Very disappointed... I booked online and paid online then when I got down there they didn't give me right room then charged me more money... the room was terrible blood on blanket.. black mold in bathroom... the door didn't shut all the way... won't be back...

Even if the rooms were totally free and they were just looking to make them look full for some sort of pictures or some weird advertising or something don't stay here!!

If they had a zero I would do that. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my entire life!!!

Just fought over an hour with hot wire to try to get a refund. Hotwire called the hotel and said the lady was even more rude to them than she was to me the night I tried to check in. In a nutshell there were flies in the room pubic hair the sheets that were supposed to be white I guess, had literal black and brown marks on the sheets. We had driven six or seven hours hoping to stay there on the way to Florida from Kentucky. The lady seemed like she was asleep when I got there after midnight and possibly woke her up so I could get my room The room was filthy we asked for another one the next room was even worse and the third room even worse than the fourth one even were some of the rooms did not even have electricity. I asked her for cleaning supplies including bleach and toilet bowl cleaner and towels that were actually put through a washing machine, literally the towels look they had look like they had been used to clean some things and that's what we were supposed to use as customers to step on and dry our bodies with. she looked at me and said you shouldn't have to clean these rooms and I looked at her dead in the face and said you're right I should not. But I had to put my 2-year-old and wife somewhere to sleep and I was willing to do the work. Long story short we did not stay there We left It was atrocious It was a worst hotel experience I've ever had ever and I can't say enough bad things about this. For the love of all its holy do not stay here this place needs to be demolished and...

I started out by booking this online, with the rating on the website showing up as "pleasant". Pulling into the parking lot, the place looks nice from the outside. I went into the lobby and no one was around, I rang the bell and still, no one. I finally called the hotel's # and told them I was waiting to check in. ||I rented the Queen Suite because it had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. We went into a HOT room. This was at 10:00 pm and we were all exhausted from being at a ball tournament all day, so a hot room isn't comfortable when your tired and ready to shower and sleep. ||We pulled out the pull out sofa, and the mattress was dirty and stained with something red and crusty. We closed it up and I went to inspect the rest of the place. Long story short, after checking on another room that was dirtier than this one, we stayed after the front desk clerk came in and cleaned our bathroom for us. ||I wouldn't walk across the carpet barefoot. And to top it all off, the unvacuumed carpet had dead bugs on it... needless to say this was the nastiest place I have ever had to stay in and if it hadn't had been so late and we were so tired, we would have demanded a refund and left. ||Rooms have paper thin walls so be prepared to be woke up at 5:30 am by your...
