The first room we had had electrical issues and the staff on night did actually move us to a new room. She was the only positive person during my stay. None of the rooms had curtains installed yet. So, I woke up really early because of the sun coming into the room and no way to block it out. When I went into the bathroom to shower since I was awake so early due to sunlight, I realized that the light in the bathroom would not turn on without turning on all the room lights. So, I had to take my shower in the dark to not awake my family. When I tried to inform day staff of the electrical issue in this room as well the staff was rude, didn't listen and treated me like I didn't know how to operate a light switch. So instead, I just discontinued my conversation with her because I could tell she did not care. She stated well we just opened so that's why there are problems. I did contact Corporate afterwards and they directed me back to the location hotel manager. The only thing I got from them was a generic email apologizing and giving me the excuse they just opened as well. I feel accommodations should have been made for me on a future stay. They need to take responsibility for the fact that this room was not finished and working properly but I was charged $112 for the night. I didn't even get good sleep due to no curtains being installed. I will be contacting corporate again on the issues. If this is the kind of service red roof now provides people, I will not return. If you know you have electrical issues with your rooms and you have not completed construction your guest should be informed in advance. Charging full price to a guest who cannot cancel is not appropriate business. If you are going to stay at this hotel you had better hope the kinks are worked out or you will not get a restful sleep and staff...

The room was clean, had a full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee pot, everything i needed to keep from having to eat out at overpriced restaurants everyday. There are built in charging ports on each side of the bed. It even had USB-C charging ports. All together there are 6 charging ports to keep your laptops, phones, etc charged. The bathroom was large with not a small trial size soap, lotion etc. There are pump dispensers in the shower with shower gel and conditioning shampoo. The sink has pump dispensers of hand soap and lotion so you don't run out after the first night. Pretty awesome I think. The room also has an iron board, iron, 50" Flat Screen TV with any app you'd need plus live TV and local channels. The best part of my experience though was how friendly and understanding the staff was. I gave them every reason to be aggravated with me by locking my key in the room probably 8 times. I was aggravated with myself however, the staff here was understanding and more than friendly every single time. I wish I knew their names individually but unfortunately I don't. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to everyone I know. Clean, affordable, great friendly staff, and oh yeah did I mention affordable. Nightly rate was cheaper than a normal hotel room even though it basically comes with a full kitchen. First time in a long time that I don't feel like I have overpaid for a hotel room.
