Relatively clean, great location, great staff, mediocre amenities, and terrible mattresses. The staff are super nice people who definitely try their best. However, the hotel needs some dire updates. I have stayed here twice over two different weeks and have had a mediocre experience each time. Common between both rooms was an aging mattress with very little support that definitely need to be replaced. I woke up with back pain every night I stayed here. The showers were fine and the water got hot (unlike a different review stated). Room service comes every three days unless you specifically request a particular service (more towels etc). The first room shared a wall with the elevator shaft and was very noisy all night long; I could not only hear the elevator and counterweight going up and down, I could also hear the elevator buttons being pressed. Luckily I was so exhausted from a 14 hour workday that it didn't keep me awake; I was also only saying the one night so I didn't feel the need to ask for a room change. Also in the first room was, due to the elevator, an EXTREMELY narrow walkway between the TV cabinet and the wall - I couldn't get my bags through the gap so they had to stay in the hallway part of the room. I didn't get the breakfast as I left at 3:30 am for the airport. I figured I would give the hotel another shot when I returned to Tampa the following week. The second room was a standard room with no weird angles or long hallways. However the shower fan made a continuous popping sound when turned off so I had to sleep with the bathroom door closed. Also the air conditioner had a variety of mold growing in the vents, which I didn't notice until my last day when I checked if it was raining or not. I informed the desk on checkout and they seemed to take it seriously so hopefully they correct it. The second visit, I had their breakfast - mostly standard continental fare but with pretty terrible ... I hesitate to say omelette. Think a boxed egg patty folded in half with a piece of American cheese in the middle. The first day they also served biscuits and sausage gravy, which were delicious, but they weren't offered the second day. As for amenities, the workout room was average but lacked anything to wipe the equipment down and was not key card protected. The pool and hot tub were pretty cold and also not key card protected, plus the parking lot gate to the pool was wide open two out of three days. All in all, I will probably try a different hotel when I return to Tampa, though this will be my fallback location.

People look at reviews! I am so glad I booked this hotel. I had an early flight out of Tampa International. Upon check-in, everything was expected and BETTER based on some reviews I read. I went to book online and had a GREAT price. I thought I would call the reservation desk and maybe give my money direct. Booking online, I saved almost $80. Room was very inexpensive and I was thrilled. Beautiful, Clean and updated! The halls had new carpet, paint and decor. The bed was comfortable and clean! BEST part was that my Mom didn’t need to get up at 4:30 am to get me to my flight on-time. They provide a FREE shuttle service. I pre-arranged with the front desk for FIRST shuttle. Shuttle arrived ON-TIME. The gentleman was friendly. ***PLEASE, TIP for this service! You saved on an Uber and he got up early to bring you to the airport! Show some love for the people in the service industry that make your life easier!!!…and don’t stop there, say THANK YOU! I went ahead and tipped for everyone on the shuttle who did not!*** He helped me put my bags in the back!! He got us right to the airport and I was able to let Mom sleep and have a nice breakfast before she checks out. This hotel is PERFECT and less than a mile from 589/Veteran’s Expressway which provides a quick route to the Suncoast Parkway Toll (Road name changes) all the way to Citrus County. Very convenient for someone dropping you off. Easy on and off with Benjamin Rd only 1 stop light from the toll road. I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel and property! If I had to change anything…the dresser in the room is too big and up against the desk leaves little room for bigger people. Everything else makes me give it 5 STARS! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wish I could give negative stars. I booked 2 nights for a suite thru our capitol one credit card points. I thought it would be a good option since it is close to the airport and had free breakfast. Upon arrival we were greeted with a less than friendly receptionist. Then once we get into the room I call to let her know there is only one hand towel and need additional towels. We waited an hour and she never brought it up. Once we were ready to get to bed we pull out the sofa bed and there is popcorn from the previous guests alll underneath the sofa and the sheets on the sofa bed were dirty, so clearly they had not been changed. I immediately notify the receptionist and she didn’t seem to care. I requested that she at least bring up new sheets and she said she was Helping other guests and that I would have to come down and get them. I come down to get them and she still was apathetic to the situation (also there were no additional guests at front) . I asked her to let the cleaning crew know tomorrow so they can clean it up properly. I was gone the entire next day and at 4:30 when my husband went to check the room nobody had cleaned anything even tho I had requested it. It was absolutely disgusting and nobody there seemed to care about their guests. When we inquired why nobody had cleaned the mess the guy said the cleaning crew was already gone for the day. It was very disappointing. The “complimentary” breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. At least have some fresh fruit! Overall I would beware of this hotel. We usually frequent Raddison hotels but I will be letting everyone know this hotel is very different from the other Raddison hotels.

Just a QUICK review with SPECIAL ATTENTION to Saúl. HE HONESTLY was such a bright light to our stay. His customer service skills ARE EXEMPLARY. If he is NOT manager or higher up the tier of your estab.he SHOULD be. He is just so calm and just a pleasure to be in the presence of. Thanx Saúl and CONTINUE your Divine customer service.

Today, IS a. COMPLAINTabt the Radisson Country Inn and Suites in Tampa. The staff is fantastic. You guys have REALLY kept the rates LOW. We guess Thanks? When Taylor Swift was in Tampa we were at your Hotel for a couple of nights then we went to the Hilton downtown which was far above $5-$600. and UPWARD but Taylor takes care of her team. *We have a COMPLAINT about WE guess she would be called......... "the breakfast attendant". We happened to be on the front of the building for a little while and heard a few of the guests COMPLAINING about the "breakfast attendant they identified as "Agnes". They we're COMPLAINING that the gravy and biscuits were mixed with each other and that the breakfast area just did NOT look very clean, NOT very "inviting". They went on to say, "That they were afraid to ask the attendant for anything because she was NOT approachable, NOT customer friendly at all. The guests should not be afraid to ask for anything. They are guests and she gives the hotel a really BAD reputation. We have "guested" at the hotel for about a year NOW and we allow our family member to take our place for breakfast because that attendant is just too sour and evil. We get a "REALLY BAD VIBE FROM HER". Our f/m said that crazy OLD woman chased her in the hall as our family member was leaving to attend a meeting that she was behind. Our family member says, that crazy woman, said to her that she knows her. WE ASSURE YOU SHE DOES NOT KNOW LISA AND CERTAINLY NOT US. Lisa said that she told her, "you don't know me, you old witch". Agnes is her name? She behaves as some uneducated bafoon in the deep country. We apologize for our family's anger but we had to admit to Lisa that we PROBABLY would NOT have been nice NEITHER. Lisa said, that when she asked what room number she was in she spoke to her as if she was some kind of.......whatever she thinks she needs to rethink Lisa said, she was NOT going to answer her command because of "HOW" she asked her and was "CHASING HER". IS SHE INSANE? She CANNOT DO THAT!!! She NEEDS TO RETIRE AND GO TO REST AT HOME!!!!!! SHE CANNOT CHASE OUR FAMILY. SHE CERTAINLY CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO "CHASE ANYONE". Lisa is a RESPECTABLE PERSON and she said that, "SHE CANNOT DO THAT TO PEOPLE". THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND SHE SHOULD NOT BE THERE, NO LONGER. WE STOPPED GOING TO BREAKFAST AT YOUR HOTEL BECAUSE OF HER AND THE AIRE OF DISCONTENT SHE EXUDES TO THE ATMOSPHERE BECAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT WE WILL NOT VISIT, NOT STAY AT YOUR HOTEL AGAIN. YOU HAVE "LOST" A GREAT CUSTOMER AND FAMILY BECAUSE of HER. We will SHARE with Corporate the rest of what happened. ALL of the best to your...

Lack of maintenance to the building. Biggest issue: It was dangerous when there was NO emergency lights on battery backup. Completely dark stairwells and they were the only way out. We had rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. My husband FELL because of this. We went to the ER. I am positive EXIT signs should still be visible and there should be working emergency lights in all stairwells as a requirement by building codes. There were emergency light equipment mounted in stairwells and the Exit signs were present, but none of the equipment worked. I did report to the desk on Wednesday night/Thursday AM.

**Staff were amazing- especially the breakfast during the days we had power. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. Housekeeping, the desk- everyone was pleasant. Even after the power went out and I heard a few people be unkind to the staff, they remained professional, kind and helpful with a smile on their face. I certainly expect the owner to do something extra like a significant bonus for everyone working during this hurricane because they were subjected to a large amount of stress, no AC and anxious guests they had to de-escalate frequently.

Prior to the power going out/prior to Hurricane Milton- -plugs didn't work, -a vent in room 417 clacked up and down all night (and day but only a problem when you're trying to sleep.). -Old telephones were disgusting! Old yuck dried on and stained. Just get new ones. -Bathtubs have a non-slip plastic mat that goes in tub but it was dirty and left all kinds of grey muck floating in the tub -sign on 4th floor for ICE and vending is pointing the wrong way -4th floor ice machine never worked *Most Frustrating issue: KEY CARDS! When we still had power, we had to go get new key cards EVERY DAY. That alone was enough to make me never go there again. And we were told it was because we had cards near the phone. That was not it. On Wednesday AM there was a different manager who was very nice. She was able to program the cards and stated there was a field in the screen where staff must toggle to "entire stay" to get the key to work every day. It defaults to DAILY. Everyone was typing in the dates but leaving it on daily. SOOOO frustrating and a waste of time when we were rushing to save our homes.

The security guards that came down Thursday from another state- they worked nights. Maybe they should take off their uniforms before getting drunk in the parking lot after shift. 3 guys and a girl. A case of Corona. I think they totally deserved a beer or 4, but take off the identifying uniform so people don't think you're on the clock. I had to talk down multiple Karen's. You're welcome.

There's more little things, but this is the gist. The people were great, it's mainly the maintenance that is the problem & from what I understand from corporate, that is the responsibility of the...

WHAT A FIASCO!!

The First room they gave us smelled like cat pee. (I have two cats so I know that's what the smell was) I complained and Got switched to a different room. That one smelled clean but in the bathroom there was blood on the wall from someone else by the tp holder. They had to get a hair dryer from another room cause ours didn't have one when it was supposed to. The handle to the shower that makes it go cold to hot came off in our hand and was broken. The lamp shades were cracked and broken too. Housekeeping didn't come once in the 4 days we stayed and said it was "upon request only" we thought that was odd.

We ordered from the room service menu they provide and it took an hour to get there and they forgot one of our appetizers so we called and they wouldn't come back to bring it to us cause it's only $5 so they just refunded us for that one item. They also gave us no utensils, napkins, or the ketchup we asked for. The food we got DID taste good BUT Overpriced BIG time.

Then the next day Our room key didn't work so we got locked out so we had to go and have them fix that issue so we could get in our room. we also got locked out of the pool and had to tell them again! Then my fiancé was getting breakfast one morning and he took a picture of the breakfast bar being served and one of the staff came up to him and rudely said "why are you taking pictures of the food!?" he said "because I'm texting my wife so she can see what's being served so I can bring her up something to eat" they didn't say anything and walked away from him. That was VERY confrontational and unprofessional. The milk machine didn't work 2 of the 4 days we stayed & The ice machine on our floor was broken the whole time too.

The shuttle that was supposed to be complementary for the airport. It couldn't pick us up because one of the girls gave us the number to call the guy and he said "'no problem. Just call me in the morning and I'll get you. No need to call the night before" so we said ok. The next day we went down and they said the girl at the desk was supposed to do it and schedule us the night before which she never did. She just Gave us the guys number. This confusion and poor communication made us almost miss our flight because we had to find an Uber instead because the shuttle was booked and couldn't get us at the time we needed and we JUST made our flight because Uber took so long to pick us up and drop us off. And we had to pay for Uber when it should've been a free ride from the hotel. The free shuttle there and back to the airport was one of the reasons we stayed and picked this place and we didn't even get that perk.

We stayed for 4 days and they got $600+ from us and this was my experience. Completely stressed me out and made us not be able to enjoy our Vacation as much. Super annoyed. I would NOT...
