Where to start, The room was rank with cigarette smell. There was blood sprayed on the ceiling from people using drugs . The cockroaches came out about an hour after getting there . Pulled back the sheet to see yellow stains .

I was gonna tough it out for the four days but my friends who I came here to visit said they were not gonna let me stay there and to just stay with them as full as their house is already I'm gonna air mattress it at their place .

The decision was made and when I went to pick up my stuff there was bugs in my CPap machine that I have to use when I sleep.

I am a genuinely laid back guy but that was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at , hands down. When I asked for the credit for the nights I wasn't going to stay or at least meet me somewhere in between . The guy at the office response was " Oh... well there nothing I can do about that" The only thing more disgusting than the room was the lack of empathy , and character that they showed when presented with the situation. Obviously they use the review service cause that creates better review standing cause there is no way anybody would leave anything over a two star ,and only cause they had Ac and a shower. We were looking for a pet-friendly motel about half way between our places in Florida and Missouri. Using the Trip Advisor reviews we located this gem. It is absolutely perfect for our needs and will be the stopping point for our trips in the future. The rates are very reasonable; the owners and staff are friendly, accommodating, and professional. On our first stay, the owner called our room to welcome us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. On our second stay, we were given the same room and the owner stopped by as we were unpacking to personally say hello. When was the last time that happened!! The motel is of the older style, which means you can park right outside your room and don’t have to carry your suitcase up an elevator. The room was spotless and had obviously been freshly painted. TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer – everything you need. There was a large grassy area for the dog and is kept mowed–something we do not always find. The area is well lighted at night so we felt very secure and, although right off the interstate, it is very quiet. There are even a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Rude and inconsiderate front desk. Didnt get a room. Would not stay here simply due to the man who answered my call the morning of 3/17/21

After driving all night and still having 4 hours to go, our truck stopped working and we needed to stop- with a toddler we couldn't sleep in the truck. In order to book a room and sleep until daylight to get back up and fix the truck during business hours, we would be charged for two nights to stay 6 hours. Was very short and rude with each of my questions a lot of attitude and my husband wanted to stop by just to teach him how to respect people. Sounded half asleep and when I clarified we would be charged 2 nights in order to sleep 6 hours he told me "thats what it is"

The Best Western was more than accommodating and I paid the same rate for one night as the Scottish inn wanted for two. It wasn't about the money. I understand policy but a place with such rude staff does not deserve...
