A truly unique experience. I visited this BK the evening of 6/15/19. My cashier, Tori, rang up my order for a #14 BK big fish meal (vanilla shake substitute) and told me my total was $10.27. My first thought was, " well it looks like Burger King has hit $10 a person now.", as I handed Tori a $20 bill. She counted out and gave me $9.73 In change. I picked up my ticket and stepped to the side to wait for my order. As I stood there, I looked at my ticket and saw that the total was $7.27 and it listed my change at $12.73. Flabbergasted, I stepped back to the counter and excused myself to the patron that I interrupted to tell Tori that although she entered my order into the system accurately, she told me my total was $3 more than that and withheld it from my change. She feigned surprise and asked me to hold on for a second. I waited until she completed the patron's order and opened the cash register and said, "You can just give me my $3 because you entered the right amount in the system." She gave me $3 without bothering to act like she needed to verify it on the receipt, which I had in my hand. As she did, I said, your manager wouldn't like hearin g about this. She had the nerve to say, "You don't have to be rude, it was a mistake." I said Honey, you enter it correctly and then told me the wrong amount, and gave me the wrong change. That was intentional." I was not intending to talk with the manager, but she called out, "Pat!" So I stepped back and waited maybe a minute till a twenty-something manager came up front and asked me what happened. I told him and gave him my ticket. He asked if I was OK at that point, and I said everything was good, she had given me my money back, and I left. Hopefully that manager has enough sense to...
Read moreThis is my second time posting a review. I deleted the 1st one because I was scared I'd lose my job but enough is enough. I've been here about 2 months, it's a great place too work & have decent food if prepared right. The management is horrible, I've brought a couple things to the managers attention and some were handled some weren't. There is favoritism in the workplace, discrimination, multiple safety relations are being ignored, gossip is a serious problem, I was yelled at yesterday for no reason at all besides saying I thought I had already made an order, the managers allow other employees too sit out in the lobby while others are working. They're allowing unauthorized employees tell other team members what to do as if they're in a management or team leader position. Certain managers are still keeping up trouble outside & inside of the workplace after I've notified our regional manager. I will be putting my 2 weeks notice in very soon if they don't try nn fire me before then. I've been labeled as crazy by the nightshift crew I started out with, they've changed my schedule after asking me & I said no. I come to work too see that my belongings are being stolen. They are allowing people to violate my personal social media account and make false statements towards me at work about it. I'm contacting corporate as soon as I get a chance. 2/28/ I called in to see what time I had to go in today because they thought I was lieing about being sick I was told don't come back until then I brought my excuse yesterday. Now they've completely took me off...
Read moreWhat does it take to get grape jelly? To the point of almost being rude, I told the cashier lady grape jelly grape jelly grape jelly. Another guy brings me my bag and my coffee and says have a good day. No grape jelly. No frappe. No napkins. No straws. He didn't say anything and he walks off. Another lady comes by and she brings me frappe, no drink. I asked for grape jelly, she puts a couple in the bag, and walks off. Finally, I see the shift supervisor or whatever walk by, how about my grape jelly so, she puts a few more grape jelly in there, has to go find my drink, get some straws, and put some napkins in there. WTF? How many Burger King employees does it take to get grape jelly? And how assertive, how rude do you have to be to make sure your order is right? It's like they have no management, no coordination no quality control. How many Burger King employees does it take to get grape jelly? Answer 5. What's...
