UPDATE 2023: Many of the new positive reviews are from fake accounts. They were using their 3rd party contractors to write good reviews, but I guess they ran out of those.

Bought a house from them in 2012. They lied about everything. We paid down $5k that we were told was non-refundable only to find out later (after we wanted to cancel the sale) that it was actually refundable.

Our salesperson Kim started out nice enough, but we got the run around from day one. We bought/ordered the house in May--they didn't deliver until September! We didn't get the house set up until October because they wouldn't pay the guy doing the dirt work. He had to go pick up his check at some point--more than 2 hours from where he lived.

The house was not built the way we requested, even after we signed paperwork TWICE telling them what custom things we wanted. This whole experience was a complete disaster. We almost had to get a lawyer involved to get things straightened out.

When we got our keys, we were so upset with the whole mess that we couldn't even be happy about owning a brand new home. We love our house but I wish we had bought it from another dealer. These people are crooks. They will tell you anything to get you to buy from them. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else!

We've had a terrible experience with our house from Timberline. 1st we didnt get power to our house for 10 months (not their fault). After having the house for a year (power for 2 months), we then call to get stuff that's wrong with it fixed (since we waited until we have power to check everything so we can get it all fixed at one time). They told us we've had time to get it fixed and wont come fix it. 2nd when we had the pad built for our house they used our dirt and didnt have to bring dirt in. We were suppose to be reimbursed for the how much is cost vs how much we paid (which was put into hour house loan). We have called several times with the answer of "we will call you back and let you know" but no one ever calls. 3rd it's a good thing we dont have our underpinnings yet (2 years in) because 1st out shower drain pipe was not even close to being connected (actually kidding parts to connect it). Using our shower and see that it's now made a bubble under our house and ruined the plywood and insulations. This has now happened to our 2nd bathroom too (we just started using it to give our baby a bath). So now 2 holes and ruined insulation/plywood. We wont ever go to...

My experience with this company has been a nightmare!! My mobile home has been months without smoke detectors ( because anytime the stove, microwave, dryer are cut on, even randomly when nothing is even on! Batteries was check but come to find out a wire in the roof was getting hot to the touch with them plugged up) they sent someone out but guess what nothing was actually fixed! My back door leaks water when it rains, the seal on the door is so messed up if it’s windy you can hear a buzzing sound so loud thought out the house! My front door the door can’t be shut without locking the deadbolt bc the door nob is broken! Broke trim thru out the house, mold in my 2nd bathroom they send someone out told me they was going to fix it ( it’s been almost 2 months now!) every single wall in my home has well over 100 staples ( some that’s even coming out the walls) I asked them to fix it they said oh we can bring you putty it’s been months!!!!

Please save your self the headache, heart break and money!

Come on timberline when I came to you y’all promised us a nice new home get y’all’s stuff...
