Claremont Lodge — Hotel in Claremont

Free wifi!! This place is quiet &clean, AC works. There's also a fridge and microwave. Improvements can always be made but this is my 2nd stay in 3 years since I don't visit the area often. I only live about a 2-3 hr drive from this area so I normally come up and go back home the same day so I only stay if I'm tired and don't want to deal. I enjoyed my stay last time and this time and would come back again.

My mother says the room is small. It may be, but this is a room with a king, table and 2 chairs and night stands. It is a little cramped but I am only ever really in a hotel room to relax and sleep so I think it's fine. -- they could just not provide a table which I think would suck. There's also a nice drawer set under the tv to put luggage and purses on. I'd rather have table surfaces than not have many/any.

The bathroom is big. There's a sink separate from the toilet/shower and between the shower and sink there's no door. However, there is one separating the whole bathroom from the room which is nice. The shower head has different pressure options and I feel like it's high enough for 6' people to shower vertically and not hunched over. Either way it's definitely higher than average.

Tv is an LG and wall mounted with port access right in front with an hdmi option. It works just like I remember tv's working. I no longer watch since I don't have cable at home. I didn't try it, but if I'd brought my chrome cast I probably could have steamed to the tv. I'm disappointed I forgot it at home so I can't try.

There's a light on both sides of the bed and you don't have to get out to go turn it off. There's switches and outlets you can reach if you roll on your side laying down.

My only complaint is that the tub is a little too high and hard to get out of. I'm about 5'3" and maybe I just...

I initially was going to stay here for one day but I understand actually a couple of days they didn't harass me they were very let me have my own space I think maybe housekeeping knocked on the door twice then I put a do not disturb sign and they didn't bother me I made my daily payment at the window they didn't bother me they didn't harass me they didn't put any rules or regulations on me probably because I'm mindful I did take my own steam cleaner cuz I usually do that and I steam cleaned for my protection only and it was fine I had no complaints I felt very safe there the rooms for the price were good the only thing was that I didn't like that I wanted to rent some days and Expedia just to get the points but even though they had the room available I still have to go through them so that kind of left me confused but other than that they have decent prices and for the space it's a good...

My husband and i spent 2 nights here this past weekend. Here is our very honest review: the room was definitely not like it shows in the pictures. What i mean by that is that in the pictures it looks soo much cleaner and newer. Our room looked like it got cleaned once a week. Bed sheets were stained, bath tub was dirty and moldy (looked VERY old). Towels in the bathroom were stained. Dead dry cockroach in the sink, the floor was so filthy my feet were dark from just walking from the bed to the bathroom. It was supposed to be a nonsmoking room, it smelled like cigarettes a lot. First night i woke up with a bug bite on my back, while getting ready a bed bug crawled out from under the bed (so gross). Over all it was just not the best stay. I guess we got what we paid for....
