Pickleball. There are five total courts and lights that are on up to 8:30pm.
However, this park has a ludicrous rule about court sharing (see attached photo). Any person/group who arrives to full courts must wait one hour before they can take the court from another team.
Out of the 15-20 pickleball locations which I have visited, I have never heard of such a rule. Hence, the common 'rotate off once the game finishes' rule does not apply here.
I visited this court twice this week, and I met the self acclaimed person who "started the whole pickleball club". They, their party, and all others playing refused to share/rotate their court with my group and another who was waiting. On the other day, four of the five teams also would not share the courts. Yes, everyone was following the rule as stated.
So note that if you visit this court during busy hours, you may not be allowed to play...

I have been taking my 3 year old and 4 year old since they we're both less than 8 months, and I've loved the fact then and now, that it doesn't get too packed with unfamiliar strangers, it's pretty much locals, and some new faces here and there, but your normal run ins with people are friendly ones.
