I will try to explain exactly what happened. This was the most terrible experience I've ever had with a hotel. In my first day there, I realized that there were no hot water in the room. I went to the front desk and they've said it would be fixed by the next morning, so I decided to wait. Next day arrived, they were still no hot water. I complained again and they said it would be fixed by the next 5 hours. I had to leave for a commitment and when I returned (around 5pm), there were still no hot water, that's when I decided to move to another hotel. I went to the front desk to ask for a full refund, because the room I rented was supposed to have hot water, and it didn't. It sounds unbelievable, but the front desk lady, a completely rude person, told me: "you slept here last night, right? So we won't refund you". At this point, I realized I wasn't getting into an agreement with this woman or his manager. I called booking customer service and from that moment on, they started to treat me so bad that I still can't believe all of that happened. The manager told Booking Customer Service that the whole city had issue with hot water (which it was not true, cause I moved to another hotel 5 min away and they had hot water). They were issuing refund to a couple in front of me (the couple was complaining about the hot water too), and they still denied me my refund. At one point, the front desk lady started to point fingers at me and I started recording. The manager started screaming at me: "I AM THE MANAGER, I DECIDE WHO GETS A REFUND AND WHO DOESN'T". I was never treated like that. After I recorded the situation, the manager call the police on me, only to tell the police that I needed to leave the hotel immediately because they didn't want me there anymore. Nobody ever called the police on me, ever in my life, and this guy, he was very discriminative and homophobic, probably because of the fact I am a guy and my nails were painted. They put signs around the hotel saying the issue was about the be solved, and on the signs they said there would not issue any refund. After this whole situation, I went to another hotel and I called Booking Customer Service one more time and told them everything that happened. The manager called me a few minutes after it just to say the he would give me a refund. In this case, only the refund is not enough and I will look up for my rights. This guy can not be working with public, him and his employee definitely doesn't know how to treat people (specially in a crisis moment). I will never forget...
Read moreI got my sister and brother in law to stay there and booked it the first time. We got a discount. She decided to come again at a spur of the moment and booked it herself. She called me and told me that they wouldn’t give her a discount. I was there when they checked in both times. I asked the lady why didn’t she get a discount and she said that they don’t give discount no more. I complained a little more. I had to go the next morning to get my sisters recite. I asked the lady again my don’t they give discount and she said that you have to go on line. That’s bull. I called at night when she wasn’t there and asked what the price would be for the next night. She told me and then I asked about a discount and she quoted me a discount price. Why can one person give discount and another want. I called Ben the manager 2 times and want talk or call me. Why. I can ask his he in with not giving discount for whatever reason. They want get my and my sisters business no more. If Quality Inn represents this type of fraud to go on. There was an opened togo box with food spilled out behind one of the beds, the floors were visibly dirty and there was a dirty shoe foot print on the sheets of one of the beds. The room smelled like mold/mildew. They were unable to have the room recleaned until the next day. The air conditioning did not work. Even though it was cold and dry outside we slept in a hot and humid room. The lady at the front desk was suppose to come look at it before we went to bed, but never showed. The next morning the water was ice cold. I could look past that as a water main break is out of their control but the other issues I cannot. We gave them all day to have our room cleaned and air fixed the next day and upon returning to our room that evening the air still did not work and all they did was pick the togo box off the floor and left the spilled food/juices on the floor. The ONLY positive thing I can say is they did give us a refund for the last 2 nights. We were suppose to stay 3 but left after the first night. However, I didn’t get any money back for the first night even though it was a horrible stay. We paid over $100 for that one night.
