Little Phillies — Restaurant in Georgia

Heard great things about this place so I was excited to give it a try but unfortunately that's all they'll ever get out of me due to my personal experience at the establishment. First of all, there's a clear disconnect when it comes to customer service. I called my order in over the phone and the young man could barely comprehend my order back to me. I was told by him that I must be looking at another restaurants menu which made no sense to me because I was clearly looking at their menu online. I asked verbatim about items but he had no knowledge so it was frustrating to do business with this establishment prior to taking a bite of food. Nevertheless, he didn't get the order 100% so there was a dispute which could have easily been solved. Lack of customer appreciation and empathy is what I took from it because he admitted he didn't get the order right but me being inconvenienced wasn't his problem. Regardless despite him and another employee that came in smelling of a strong odor substance I remain displeased and left with out the rest of the order. Ok get home take out the wings and they are so dry I could barely bite into wings. The meat was non existent on these wings mostly hot dry skin definitely didn't like them. I also had a Philly cheese steak I guess it wasn't bad but definitely not on my top 50 ijs. My friends and I were traveling from out of town looking for a quick spot to eat and we saw this place on the map. I love a good cheesesteak and usually the smaller businesses sell the best food. This place was no different; the food was very fresh and very tasty. Only problem I had was the service. There was a guy at the cash register that was not very pleasant at all. He was inpatient and didn’t recognize that me and my friends were from out of town and had never eaten here; we were visibly looking at the menu, out of the way of the other customers, so clearly we were not familiar with the restaurant and menu. I asked if the cheesesteak I chose came with lettuce and he got an attitude and acted like it was an inconvenience for me to ask any questions. There was nothing displayed about adding additional ingredients, which is why I asked the question. I will say this, when the cooks and other workers realized we were upset, they did try to rectify the situation and were very nice trying to accommodate us. However, the cashier started yelling belligerently at his co-workers when approached about his attitude, which also was very unprofessional. Sadly, I gave 3 stars because of the service and had the experience been more pleasant, I would’ve given this spot 5 stars in a heartbeat. Our initial waitress was terrible. Paid no attention to us, just to people driving around the parking lot. We had to grab our own menus, utensils and napkins etc. Shortly after we got our food there was a car accident, and surprise Blondie was so distracted that we got a different waitress. This lovely redheaded girl was way better than the blonde girl we started off with. She actually brought us the things we asked for, she was nice and attentive and gave us space perfectly. For personal reasons I also love that she didn't try to assume how the checks would be split and asked us. Even though the initial waitress (if you could call her that) messed up the orders on the receipts, she verified everything first before dropping them off to us. From this short interaction I believed this was a consistent issue with this other staff member, one that needs to be amended immediately. Nonetheless, when it came down to it we felt terribly awkward to ask our new waitress if the tip was going to her or the other girl. To my surprise she says "it goes to me but if you want it to go to someone else then I can do that for you☺️"... We just wanted to be sure we were tipping the RIGHT waitress and not the one who started the table. The name on the receipt was "Alyssa" I believe.
