Stayed in this hotel while visiting my daughter at college in Pittsburgh. The location was convenient with an easy drive in and out of the city. Friday night it sounded like the room next door was being remodeled. I was fine with the noise until in continued after 10 pm. Saturday night was worse for noise. From 10 pm on there was just constant talking echoing from the lobby down the hallway. I've never had a ground floor room before and I certainly never hope to experience it again. At midnight when my daughter complained about the noise the employee made excuses saying a wedding party had just returned to the hotel. At 2 am when I complained I was told well everyone just came back from the bar but it is quiet now. There was a group of people talking very loudly in the lobby as this conversation happened. I let the gentleman at the desk know that the noise from that conversation was very audible in my room and the noise had been near constant since 10 pm. He said "I do apologize but it has been quiet for the past hour" I asked if this is a normal level of noise so I know never to book a room at this hotel again but he didn't say much other than I apologize and it should be quiet now. I ended up deciding to drive home Sunday evening instead of staying a third night. The pool and hot tub both have lots of signs of aging. There was a dead bug smashed on the wall right by the lamp on the night stand, I wish I would have noticed sooner. The body wash and conditioner were empty, or low enough nothing came out of the pump. The towel rack is inside of tub which causes the towels to be damp when you go to use them. There were large gaps around the door, maybe this contributed to the noise in my room. Either way this was not what I have come to expect from Hilton...

The hotel, in general, was a nice hotel. It smelled clean upon entering the room and seemed well kept. The pool and hot tub area were also clean and fresh towels were available.

With that being said - beware if you decide to book through a third party site. Upon checking in, I asked if I was able to apply my Hilton Honors number so that we could accrue points. The gentleman at the counter stated, with a partial attitude, that because we booked through a third party site, Hilton does not recognize the stay as redeemable. To be fair, when booking, the third party site did state that it was up to the hotel and it wasn't guaranteed. So, I brushed it off, I knew it was a possibility. However, the saga continued when we went to go to bed; we turned down the sheets and one of the pillows had unwashed blood on the pillowcase. Yes, we confirmed it belonged to no one in our family. My husband went down to the front desk with the pillow and the same gentleman said he would change out the pillow but that was all he could do. My husband was baffled and asked why. He stated - it was because we "had booked through a third party site." Clearly, we weren't truly guests in the eyes of this staff member because we did not book directly with Hilton. Our concern was that if there was that dirty of a pillow, what else was not washed on that bed or in the room.

Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff member and the lack of cleanliness of the bed lost two stars...

After driving 15 hours decided to call it a day and book a hotel online that was pet friendly. Decided on this this hotel 1 bedroom $149 with $50 non refundable pet fee plus taxes. A guy working the front desk named Tim look incredibly annoyed with me checking in and especially that I had a pet.. 10lb dog. He felt the need to argue the pet fee with me saying it’s $75 and I had to tell him it was not that on the website it says $50. Go to the room 128 he calls and goes I looked it up it is 75$ non refundable, at this point I look it up again thinking maybe I made a mistake. This is what it says on their website “traveling with pets allows $50 non refundable 1-4 nights , $75 for 5 plus nights. I honestly did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel or welcomed. The beds are uncomfortable The pillows are old Around 5:30am you can hear this crashing sound whenever someone uses the waters. You can hear the person in the room next door full conversation talking, this is not a room with adjoining doors so the walls are thin. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful check in and easy sleep before traveling. It lacks customer services, basic amenities “bar soap”, and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Their gym looks nice, pool and front lobby, but I didn’t book a hotel to use any of...

Great luxury, lovely, regal, high-quality hotel with a great view of the area. The room was nicely carpeted, quiet and clean. However, a section of the shower door inside the bathroom was set up with it partially missing due to a European/Middle eastern style that the hotel wants to impart. We were also surprised that the microwave was a bit dirty but good thing, as it turned out, we didn't end up using it. Also, the hotel does not come with free breakfast. It is about $14.99 per person and those omelets are not, surprisingly included. That, in themselves, are a separate charge on top of the breakfast one, although, positively, the chefs are very friendly, accommodating and pleasantly easy to deal with. The hotel can become busy too, at times, down in the lobby area/elevator due to large crowds that come in and out. As our party was leaving, a large wedding party came in and had booked the hotel for the wedding. So the hotel can get busy at times, with different, seasonal events. Overall, it was a very nice and pleasant stay. One of the other nice pluses is that the bathroom came already set up with a nightlight in an outlet. You will not regret staying here if you choose this hotel for your visit.
