Loved this hotel. Very close to highway, gas stations with quick mart around the block. Hotel is newish style. The check in and check out were amazingly quick. Which I appreciated bc on the check in I was exhausted. It has a tub in the bathroom which is not my favorite but ok. Very friendly and professional team. Beds were very comfortable, the best part in the room is the size of the flat screen.Big as they come, not a 65" but likely a 55". Very nice pool and gym, there is a jacuzzi hot tub too. Not sure when Hampton inn changed it, but the breakfast is amazing. Not your cook to order eggs thing of major hotels, but an amazing variety of things from waffles to hard boiled eggs and omelettes. Pastries and fruit. Green juice that you don't get at many of the quick breakfast bars. The think that I absolutely LOVED ❤🤟 that they use compostable cups and paper carton straws a very eco friendly breakfast. Way to go Hampton inn!!! Easy parking and good rate. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Of the 3 different Hampton Inn's I've stayed at across the country, this is has always been the nicest one. The rooms are clean, hotel staff is nice, breakfast is great (full hot meal), and the hot tub/pool combo is amazing. The only thing that has gotten worse over the years is the price. We used to be able to get the King Suite for $150-$175/night. This past time we spent $250/night to stay. That's insane. Crawfordsville is beautiful with so many outdoors activities to do. Really any hotel stay is worth it. It's literally a breath of fresh air from Illinois too.

The hotel’s lobby is nice . Breakfast is typical Hampton signature breakfast. Our room Smells musky, ran the bathroom fan all night. Ice machine on first floor was not working for days. Have to go 2nd floor to get ice- 07/17/24 Nicole from management emailed me about my reviews and stated that the smell issue was not communicated to them. I replied by sending them the text message I received soon as we checked in.

I cannot express the frustration I expirienced with this hotel.

I was attempting to book a block of rooms for my wedding reception. Unfortuantely, there are not many options for nice hotels in Crawfordsville, IN and my reception was on the same weekend as the Brickyard, so I was limited. I first called in May to set up a block rate and was told that we were good to go. In June I stopped in to see if there was any other information my guests would need. Upon stopping in I was informed that my reservation had not been made. So, I made another block reservation. Then in July, when my guests started to call in they were told that they had never heard of me. I called back in and talked to Nicole, the manager. Who informed me that my reservation had been canceled because they did not have the appropriate number of double rooms. So instead of calling me, Nicole simply canceled my reservation. While on the phone she was rude, snappy, and refused to return phone calls to me. At one point I asked her who else I could speak to above her. She told me "I built this hotel". At that point I had no option but to call corporate. After speaking with corporate, Nicole called me back. She told me that I "needed to stop telling lies about her" and agreed to give me a block of King rooms. However the king rooms were more expensive than the doubles and when I requested that my guest pay the price of the double rooms that she cancelled, she refused. This means that some of my guests now had to book 2 king rooms for their families, when they would have been able to have one double room, and that they were paying more per room. Nicole repeatedly told me that I could just take my business elsewhere, but was quick to inform me that she also owned another hotel in Crawfordsville, as if to play a monopoly card on me. Nicole ended the conversation by saying "if you have anything else to say, you can email it so that you'll stop spreading lies."

Needless to say, I highly considered attempting to stay elsewhere, but we really had no other options, and I assumed the worst of it was over, so my wife and I decided to give our business, and that of our guests to the Hampton... which I now highly regret. After being told that my guests could not have double rooms, the guests in front of us as check in were offered their choice between a double or a king room.

After the reception my wife and I walked into the lobby where there was a group of people chatting loudly and having a great time. We went up to our room, and then decided to continue the party with our guests in the lobby. We went to join them and within a few minutes the night manager Roy, came over and demanded that we could not be in the lobby and needed to go back to our rooms (even though other people had been allowed to hang out and socialize as much as they wished). Roy (who was not the person who checked my wife and I in), immediately threw out my room number and said that he was going to call the police if we did not return to our rooms immediately. Out of fear, we did return to our rooms, but I needed to retrieve several things from the car, so later in the night I went back through the lobby, where Roy (who was sitting in the lobby with the TV blasting) leaned up and watched me closely as I walked in and out of the building.

To top it all off, I climbed into bed to see a small bug crawling across the covers. I've attached a photo below.

I've never before had to wonder if the treatment I received was due to my sexual orientation. The negativity I expirienced here genuinely made me wonder. Never before has a manager tried so hard to push away my almost $3000 worth of business. I currently have an open complaint out with the Hilton and they have been very understanding and helpful. To say that I would not recommend this hotel is an understatement. I'm disappointed that my guests and I gave nearly $3000 worth of business to this nasty manager so that we could be babysat by her night manager and sleep in a room with bugs crawling across...

Horrible stay at Hampton Inn in Crawfordsville, IN. My family stayed at this location over Memorial Day weekend 2024. It was going to be our “home base” as we visited colleges in the region and attended a Fever game. Unfortunately, our stay was miserable. We were given a room right next to the elevator. The room was also filthy: the bathroom had accumulated grime and mold. There were body hairs around the tub and toilet. The temperature control in the room was either stuffy or freezing. The front of the HVAC unit was hanging slightly off the main unit and installation was sticking out between it and the wall. There was also a bizarre amount and type of debris inside the vent. There appeared to be gravel and other trash in the unit. Some of it would blew out as the unit ran (at full blast because there was no way to turn the flow of air down). The beds were also terribly uncomfortable. I woke up from what little sleep I did get (with the elevator going throughout the night) feeling like I’d been in a car wreck. None of my 3 kids slept more than a couple hours because of the elevator noise, sound of the HVAC unit kicking on, and the temperature in the room. We checked out the very next morning and repositioned to Brownsburg where we had a great stay at the Hone2Suites. We checked out at 9:45am. The staff at the desk informed me we would be charged a penalty of $75 for departing early (not staying the additional day as originally reserved). She also said the charge related to housekeeping already going by our room, which wasn’t true since housekeeping was right outside our door. At that time, I shared the issues with the room and explained why we were leaving. The staff member was not interested and said this was the hotel policy and no manager was available to discuss. I said we wouldn’t be staying at a Hampton Inn again then. My husband travels frequently for his job and often needs to adjust his stay due to scheduling issues. To my knowledge, he’d never been treated this way. But Hampton Inn in Crawfordsville, IN, does this under the guise of “hotel policy.” I left. My kids and I were exhausted and actually checked in early to a different hotel and took naps so we could continue with our trip. The next day we received a rude email from the manager, Nicole Copeland, admonishing me for expressing the issues with the room at checkout and reiterating the hotel policy! No apology for the condition of the room when a 30 sec inspection would have revealed it was filthy. And certainly the staff and management cannot be unaware about the temperature control, state of the HVAC systems, and lack of diligence by the cleaning crew. Will NEVER stay at a Hampton Inn...

What can I say, this place was awesome. We got two rooms, AAA rate ($117 ea. after tax) which was very good compared to what we paid at other places on our vacation. When we checked in, we were informed that there was a catered dinner that night (Grilled chicken and vegetables, drinks, cookies). I asked how much and they said it's free. I was incredulous. Seven of us ate dinner for free that night (You do the savings math on that one). The staff was extremely friendly, I had no problems getting extra towels for our room and some extra drink packets (see below). We picked this place because of the pictures of the pool area. Let me say they didn't disappoint us. The indoor pool was large (best one of our vacation easily) and very clean. They also had a larger than normal hot tub/jacuzzi. Tables and chairs around the pool for parents to sit at while their kids swam. They also have an outdoor grill with a patio area just outside the pool. The pool has it's own very well stocked selection of large pool towels (you don't have to use your room towels) and also a shower to wash the pool water off before you go back to your room. The rooms were very clean and updated. TV was exceptional. Very large screen and I was surprised when I found out they got NBC Sports Network. (I wanted to watch the Tour de France)

Breakfast, this is where they stood out above all others. So much great food to choose from. The omelettes were outstanding, tube sausage, not the burger patty kind. Smoothies, really good smoothies, good fruits and lots of breads to choose from. Cold cereals as well. Oh and they had real oatmeal, not the sugarized instant baggies you find at most places. The eating area was also very upscale with a mix of bar seating, and round tables with nice furniture chairs, again well above standard quality. Parking was plentyful and when you checked out they gave you a snack bag for the road (bottle of water, flavored powder mix packet, apple and a sweet cake looking thing in a sealed bag). Again, I was impressed for what we got for the price. We spent the day at Turkey Run State Park and decided to stay another night here because the entire experience was so good. I found myself looking at other Hampton Inn/Suites first in other cities on our vacation. I would highly recommend this place. Obviously as we chose to stay another night, we would use it again. A note on the catered free dinner, it is only...
