Trinity Suites Downtown Dallas — Hotel in Dallas

I booked for a night last minute.. my first room I checked in smelled like pee.. it’s been a while since they have deep cleaned, everything is dirty; curtains, lampshades, bed cover, walls, floors, etc. Ceiling was destroyed from water damage. I don’t think anyone mopped the floors. Another persons hair was on the floor. I asked to change rooms they changed it for me. I got back to my 2nd room about 2 a.m no hot water Luke warm water it was freezing. I called front desk to let them know there was no hot water, I asked for a discount/refund he told me he would not honor it what could he do at 2 am? In the morning when I woke some type of bed bug or roach was smashed on my pj’s. Before I checked out I looked under the mattress pee stains everywhere, the headboard was not cleaned. This place def needs TLC and is not worth the $88 they charged me.. I’ve stayed at way nicer for $70. I rate them a negative if it was available. Shame on you for...

Booked through an online company, be careful if you book a room for after 12 AM to specify the previous day. When I got here at 2am I was booked for a check in at 3 AM later that day. Clearly that was not acceptable. I had to call the booking company on the Internet and reschedule it for the previous day, although they were nice enough to keep the rate the same.

All in all I believe it was a flaw in the Calendar app of the booking service, but caution to anyone checking in after 12 AM at night be sure and double check that you are booking for the previous day in order to avoid the hassle.

Otherwise it has very nice and bright outside lighting, a secure feeling premises, and nice mood lighting in the rooms for the price.

edit arrived at 2:30 and couldn’t get to my room till 3 , asked for a 12am checkout , would only give me 11:30 checkout.

Ever heard of customers always right ? 30 min, -1 star , fair in my book . not my F’n hotel...

I'm only putting 5 stars so that you see this . If you continue to read countless people have mentioned the bed bugs and they're not on the front of the page and I really need it to be it's so unfair because the hotel has really strict guidelines but most hotels and any online booking don't think that bed bugs are uninhabitable you'll be better off saying your grandma died to get a refund. I seen the bug took a picture caught it and took it to the front desk . They said they would come look at room as I was walking back one of the workers who lives on property came out SCREAMING at the top of his lungs in my face in my friends face and I mean I debated calling the police to right a report for the aggression . He basically was upset with me that I found bed bugs . It looks cool but I'm telling you it no place you want to stay , don't let them lights fool you this is not a drill....
