My experience that ended today, mercifully following an excruciating 6 night stay that I wish I had curtailed after the first disappointing night! My sin was to book via a 3rd party site based on 9++ reviews. Given room 308, which was huge but had a musty old carpet and looked as if Victorian Industrial Revolution was still alive given its poor furniture and lack of comforts such as ergonomic areas to place two suitcases. Zero suitcase stands. A microwave plonked on an archaic wooden desk. A deep jacuzzi type bath that could have been a slippery death trap with no support to get in or out of it. It was straight out of a horror movie. Skyla who tried her best as did Kimmy, moved us to 305. The carpet was dirty and smelt stale with red spots on it. It took Johan to from housekeeping to clean it. The Thai owner (and presumably her family given the two young males who over throttle a Maserati and a Lamborghini in the car park showing off their wealth and attitude) showed their true colours when I went to fill up a few cups for my evening cups of tea from the breakfast room. An overhead camera started a panic siren as it had caught me in the act of theft! A rude female voice sounding a concentration camp matron started shouting at me - “breakfast is between 6 and 10!!!!” And carried on. I got into a regrettable exchange with her but realised I should complain. After waiting at reception alone, a young man appeared (I recognised him as the driver of the black Lamborghini with the NUKS personal plate). No apology he laughed off the incident. It made me think the owner, who is head chef of the Thai restaurant or her family / management couldn’t care a toss about deference to fee paying clients. They’ve become wealthy from the silent majority who don’t voice their concerns. The place needs a health and safety check because the elevator also shut down and jammed but for customer service I give them 1/10 and would advise patrons to go elsewhere. The beauty of the site cannot paper over the real rot in the...

Read moreThis hotel was amazing!! Me and my wife went to spend our one year anniversary. The staff was great. I ordered flowers balloons and chocolate for my wife, and they had it ready in the room with a bottle of champagne. The view was breathtaking from room 302. For dinner, we went down to the Thai restaurant. The food was ok, but the bar was on point. The drinks we expertly made and crafted with care. The ambiance was set with perfect lighting and music with a fun atmosphere. The entire staff was exceptional, but David made sure we were taken care of from start to finish! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Book your stay as long as it's not room 302 on May 25th because we will be booking this room every year for our...
