4/18/22 - 4/22/22 Restaurant out of everything. First day "We have no flatbread so there are no sandwiches." started the litany of missing ingredients for what is a very limited menu anyway. A variation of the litany nightly. Nobody there at checkout. Extended stay, cards didn't work in doors.
4/25/22 - 4/28/22 Again restaurant out of something(s) daily. Usually a staple used to cook multiple dishes. Some things are optional. Like 'toast', which you might get two slices of with butter and jelly once and one slice with fresh out of the fridge butter and nothing else. Note that the toaster cooks one side pretty well and the other to just this side of burnt. No quality control here. Tried the mashed potatoes. Not bad. As you work your way through it, some cold, some a little better than luke-warm. Nuked, but not long enough. Second time, just cold. Didn't order atagain. Eggs in the morning? Wait staff does not understand difference between 'over easy' and 'over medium'. Quit ordering slimy eggs altogether. BLT. One side of bread had the slice pretty nicely cooked and the other end of the same slice was completely uncooked, cold enough that may have come out of a freezer. (no lettuce, so just a BT) Could not get a salad either trip due to "we're out of lettuce" daily. At least one item on the menu "Has not been available since I worked here." according to one employee. I don't drink but, Wednesday night, out of all light beers. (Traveling companion asked.) Repeated calls at least got staff to be able to check out. (Note 'repeated calls')
'Sundries' kiosk actually lacks anything in the way of 'sundries'. Need a comb, toothbrush, mouthwash, charge cord, toothpaste, razor, nsaid, antacid? Too bad. This area is essentially a super sized impulse snack-buy at a supermarket with less selection. Chips, candy, a very limited selection of drinks, under-frozen ice cream. That's the lineup.
Had to turn in non-functional TV remote. Can't keep fan running on HVAC. (I use the noise to help me sleep, used the TV instead (sorry neighboring room))
Clock complains of missing / discharged backup battery.
Even the staff admits this place is awful.
Find some place near a variety of restaurants. This is decidedly not one to visit. My company really needs to find another place for me to stay when I am dispatched. Next time I will ask if I can bring a sleeping bag, use Uber services for meals and just sleep...
Read morehotel was ok but did NOT MEET my EXPECTATIONS for price and the Hilton name, room was almost $200 for a standard king room 1 night stay. Check in was quick and easy however upon entering the floor there was a bag of trash outside 1 of the rooms. That same trash bag along with 2 others was still outside following morning . Restaurant had a very select menu and I felt it was over priced, $19 for a flatbread pizza? Couple of choices for salads and a couple different burgers was the entire menu. there was no free coffee offered in the lobby. The kuerig in room was poorly stocked, no sweetener, no spoons no stirrers, no tea and only 2 creamers. Toilet handle stuck sometimes and caused toilet to continuously run which you could hear in the room with the door closed. There were no extra blankets , pillows or anything else . 1 blanket on bed, duvet. 4 feather pillows , way too soft for me. Mattress was ok. Noisy hallway until about 9:30 -10:00pm. For the money I felt it was no nicer than a cheaper chain. Stayed here looking for a nicer stay. Really did not meet my expectations. Stayed at hotels/motels cheaper by half the price and got free coffee in the morning and at some got a free continental breakfast. I am from Massachusetts and the Hiltons I have been in up here were far nicer. The logo, entrance sign, 10X20 foot glass was completely broken on one side. I don't believe it lit up at all and was a negative first impression upon arrival. Gave the impression you were entering a WAR zone. Although check in was very speedy and staff was friendly, there was a woman complaining about an overflowing toilet in her room . She stated she had called down in the morning to inform them but at 3pm still no one had come up to clean the floor nor to replenish all the bath towels they had to use to soak up the water. I witnessed the reaction to her complaint and I did not hear either one of them apologize, what I heard was we will inform housekeeping. I would think this would have been handled a little better and customer given more empathy for her troubles and some kind of immediate response since she had waited hours already. Either way between the broken sign, the complaint and then the trash in hall I wasn't feeling too good about the choice of hotel I had chosen. And definately felt I was overpaying for for what I got. weekend stay...
Read moreI stayed here for the third year in a row back in February. Despite this hotel sometimes costing just a little more than the others, I keep coming back for several reasons. 1)The rooms are always immaculate 2) The customer service is amazing. I love how the staff stays consistent year to year. It says a lot about the work environment. One of the bar tenders, Henderson, is the nicest guy you will meet, has great manners, and is very quick with serving both food and drink, even at a packed bar. The front desk attendants are more than helpful, and go out of their respective ways to make sure you have a good experience. Even the housekeepers are friendly. 3) The business center is nice, always clean, and up to date software and equipment. 4) the wifi is great, and is very fast. 5) The parking lots always seem very safe, and are extremely well lit. There is almost always available parking very near to the door, so if there's bad weather, or you just don't like to walk alone outside between your car and the building, it is super quick. 6) Despite being located just off several major thoroughfares, the location is very quiet, and I don't experience any noticeable noise or extra light bothering me in my room. 7) The bathrooms are always well stocked with necessities and kept very clean. 8) The housekeeping staff is very respectful, not knocking anytime before 10 in the morning, even if you forget to put a 'do not disturb' sign on the door handle. 9) The food is GREAT. You wouldn't expect hotel food to be this good, but little touches, like hot pepper infused pickles, and an always great bacon burger make this place perfect. The complimentary continental breakfast has long open hours and is well stocked right up until it shuts down.
I will keep coming back to this place as long as the trade show is held somewhere remotely close and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, stress-free place to stay while on a business trip...
