We stayed three nights. Our room was clean, bedding was great and adequate in supply, and the grounds were beautiful. Pool and spa were clean, and towels at the pool were plentiful.
The mattresses were a bit hard, and my husband and I woke up stiff and sore every morning, but the pillows were absolutely lovely and amazing, and we slept well most nights, only suffering slightly in the morning until we got everything stretched back out. Room was quiet, and the black out shutters worked as advertised. I want something similar installed at home now.
There were lots of options on the TV for channels via cable or satellite, including premium channels, but we were not able to use our Chromecast to access our Netflix.
We were able to request extra towels, coffee, and shampoo, with no issues at all. Our room had a mini fridge and microwave, and both were clean and worked great. Parking was no issue at all, and the hotel is within walking distance of many eateries and shopping. Breakfast every morning was hot, plentiful, and there were lots of options, all of which tasted delicious. Loved the variety, as we were traveling with picky children.
We did have an issue during our stay which should have been a really big deal, but want for reasons I'll explain. For some reason, the front desk was not able to get either of our credit cards to work for our entire stay, even though the limits on both were plenty high, and had been used in the area for food and gas a few times. This meant that the system kept locking our room keys out thinking that it didn't have a valid credit card on file for the room and that no one was in that room. House keeping did not see to the cleaning of our room, thinking no one was there for the same reason. This was a bit of a pain, but the front desk worked diligently to get the issue resolved, and we're able to finally get everything all fixed, even though it meant that we had to pay for our room in advance instead of waiting until check out, and put half of the stay on one card and the other half on another. I still have to make sure all the points are added to our account for our stay as well, but I have faith this will all get resolved too.
Staff, as just mentioned, was wonderful. Special thanks to Gabriel, who was the lucky winner to get stuck with us and our room key issues, but never gave up, and always strive to make it as painless as possible. Would definitely return, and...
Read moreThis was by far one of the worst IHG hotels I have ever stayed at. The front desk staff here were unfriendly, unprofessional, and unwilling to help. The hotel felt so run down and needed maintenance. I had stayed here for a total of 3 days on my last visit and was really surprised with how much this place has changed (at one point, I stayed here for 2 months).
So let's start with why I gave the poor rating:
The gentleman who checked me in looks like he hates being there. Aside from not acknowledging me as a Platinum elite member, he also didn't offer me my options for amenity points OR snacks. I had to bring that up myself. He initially gave me a standard room even though I knew I was eligible for an upgrade. He upgraded me once I requested it, although he looked like he didn't want to do it. There was a lack of motivation from him in trying to do anything without me having to prompt him.
I was given a suite, except the room felt really dirty and run down. I was too tired at this point to even ask for a room change. The toilet seat was loose so it was difficult to use without it sliding all over the place. In addition, the toilet seat had cracks and was peeling which is disgusting for infection prevention purposes (dirt and bacteria will get into those cracks). I took pictures.
The rug felt like it needed a thorough wash because it was obviously dark in certain areas. I had to wear socks/slippers the whole time I was there because I was afraid to catch anything.
The shower was disgusting and looks like it needs a new tub. The shower curtain was stained with yellow marks closer to the faucet side.
One of the pillows had stains on it. The blanket cover also had a stain. I had to ask housekeeping for new sets. This shouldn't be a standard for any IHG hotels.
The AC stops working in the middle of the night. Initially we thought it was just a technical issue on the first night, but it did the same thing all 3 nights that I stayed there.
The breakfast variety was a bare minimum. This place has seriously gone down the drain.
The price I paid to stay here was not worth the value of the hotel. I regretted staying here.
I would avoid this place. The fact that I am taking time to write this review shows I really hated this stay, and this stay has by far been the WORST IHG experience I had.
Upon check out, I provided feedback to the same guy who checked us in. He didn't care. He...
Read moreI usually never write reviews but I just had to for this place! I have to say that this has got to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at considering that it is cheaper than hotels that I have paid more for. The moment you walk in, the lobby looks so nice and clean, the check in process was fast and easy, took less than 5 minutes. When we got up to our room, the room looked so nice, everything is very modern and up to date. They even provided full size Dove hand lotions, Dove hand wash, Dove shampoo, Dove conditioner & Dove body wash and not the cheap small shampoo bottles that you usually get from hotels. The microwave and refrigerator was great, was able to store and heat up our leftovers throughout the night. We forgot to get spoons and forks so I called the front desk at 1am and the person said they had some to give so my husband went down to grab some. The heater and ac worked great as well. My only complaint here is that the rooms are connected through a door that you can open and connect the two rooms and that’s great if you are in a group and want to hang out throughout the night, you can open the doors to access either rooms easily but not good for when you don’t know the people in the other room. The people next to us had played loud music and talked up until almost 1am and I can tell that the walls are pretty thick so it wouldn’t have been that bad if we didn’t have that door that connects the two rooms. Because of that door and since it doesn’t have any soundproof, it made it super easy to hear everything that was going on in the other room. But overall, the cleanliness and quality of this hotel is top notch. I highly recommend it! It’s located near stores and gas stations, the parking lot was very big and looked very secured so you don’t need to worry about break ins. I look forward to staying here in the...
