It's the cutest place in the world! The rooms are a good size and the beds are absolutely gigantic! The room that we had had a bathroom, a shower/bathtub, a refrigerator, a microwave, 2 huge beds, a small TV, and of course many tables, chairs, and desks. They not only have a pool and a hot tub outside, but there is also an indoor pool (in another building, of course) that you can use freely. They have a wonderful selection of breakfast daily and they even have Marshmallows and S'mores at night by the outdoor pit or the indoor fire. Breakfast is served all day long, so you can just grab whatever and go. The people are always so very nice, including the maids! It even has a playground for kids! The best part is, if you stay in the fall or winter when the ground is covered in snow, you will wake up to 3 dozen Elk grazing across the road! It's a beautiful sight! When we started driving home, we even saw 2 little Black Bears digging in the ground foraging for food, and we usually see foxes playing in the snow together! It's surprisingly nice, since it's a family owned hotel, and the people are always so polite. It's funny; they will even remember exactly who you are on the phone when you call! You can wake up in the morning to see the beautiful mountains right outside your window! Downtown is very close as well, so you can go shopping at the great shops, if that's your thing. There aren't many restaurants there, but what is there is very tasty! The hiking trails are absolutely beautiful and something you definitely shouldn't miss out on! And don't forget Estes Lake! Overall, Hotel Estes is the place to go! It's a snowy paradise and a...

Seriously? Find somewhere else. For $235 for one night this is what we got. And I've seen better in $90 places. This isn't a hotel, it's an old 50s or 60s remodeled Motel. Small rooms check the pics below. Squeaky wooden floors and the upstairs customers woke at 5:30 and I kept waking up every 30 minutes to squeaking floors. The sink is 8' from the bed and at night, if one person goes to bed before the other, the whole room is lighted if you try to brush your teeth or do anything before going to bed. The wooden chair is impossibly hard to sit on if you need to do any work. The tv controller and fact sheet don't agree. You figure it out! Parking is difficult. Its on a bad slope and watch out closing your car doors. Don't even think of bringing in a vehicle longer than a pickup truck. Steep uphill walk to get to the office for anything, a person using a wheelchair is going to need help. The 'Continental Breakfast' was a total joke. It looks like they went to 7/11 for packaged stuff? Some bread to toast, a couple of sweet treat cereals, some packaged Yogurt, 2 fruit drinks, boiled eggs? and no fruit. The coffee, 1 dispenser, was acidic. I went back up at 8:00am ish to give the coffee one more try and the door was locked? No note, nothing. I watched another girl go up in a bit and she came right back. Still locked. 1 plug in the room to use on a lamp. Then you need to start unplugging things from the wall to charge any electronics. The girl that checked me in was VERY nice. The only good thing about this...

This place would rate 5-stars if it had better water pressure or at least an adjustable shower head. Other than that, what's not to love? We'd give 4.8 stars if Tripadvisor let you do fractions...||Front desk staff were delightful, especially the young man who checked us in. He's a Texas transplant, but don't hold that against him! He was polite, patient, very conversant and offered a wealth of information on local attractions, restaurants and best times to go to various places. And they have this great popcorn machine and smores hours in the evening, so you can make your own in front of the fireplace in the lobby. The view to the west is simply stunning, from the lobby or your room.||The rooms are nicely-appointed, spacious, warm and inviting. We arrived in a March wind-storm and found our room cozy, warm and an absolute refuge from the storm. The beds are comfortable and they have a plethora of good pillows. Plenty of counter space around the sink, which is separate from the shower/toilet area. The room had very responsive temperature controls and a nice sized mini-fridge and microwave. Hot water appeared quickly and never ran out. The only down-side might be the water pressure. For the guys, not a problem, but for ladies with long hair, plan on a slow rinse...the water is also very soft.||For the price, this is one of the best deals in Estes. We'll...

We stayed in a family room. 3 queen beds. Corner, so we had windows facing front and to the side - so we had amazing views of the mountains! Microwave and mini fridge with an actual freezer in room as well as coffee pot and coffee cups, armoire that had the a tv and a mini closet with iron and ironing board in it. Toiletries were from bath & body works (lotion, body soap, shampoo & conditioner). Room was clean upon arrival. Several fire pits - they supplied the fire wood as well as propane and charcoal grill - nighttime just ask front desk for s'mores and can make s'mores by a campfire. Wood swing for adults and mini playground for the kids, so relaxing to enjoy an evening outside of the room... Room wasn't to far from pool that has a jacuzzi in the pool area. There is an ice machine in the laundry room and they even supply the laundry pods and dryer sheets. Washer was $1.50 and dryer was $1.50 to use (medium load was completely dry). Super clean machines and laundry room. There is a regular hot tub near the laundry room as well. Breakfast they had cinnamon rolls, pop tarts, cereal& milk, juice - apple & orange - yogurt, bagels and toast, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs and oatmeal (toaster and microwave to use if needed). We definitely enjoyed our stay. So much to keep you occupied or to just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Traveling with my family group of 5, including a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old daughter on a several day roadtrip, Hotel Estes was just what I was looking for. It had a playground for the kids to play on, to blow off some energy after spending most of the day in the car getting there. It had a outdoor pool with amazing backdrop for my kids who love to swim to blow off even more energy. Rooms were nice and clean. We enjoyed most the campfire that staff had lit, along with the free S'more supplies for us to use and indulge in. Big hit with the kids and adults. Free breakfast had plenty of options for us to load up on protein and to head in to Rocky Mountain National Park in the morning for a hike. My only complaint is that our stay marked the week when two night minimums were imposed for summer. Not a fan of that, as my itinerary what tight for time, and I could only afford to be in Estes Park for one night to see all that I had prioritize to see. I was able to find a work around, but two night requirement almost lost my business. I know they have their reasons, but I had mine too.
