Everything about Estes Park is great everyone needs to go there lots to see lots of great food from hamburgers to great fine dineing great restaurants to home made candy cookies lots of stores you will get to buy things you don't get to see just any place there are great jewelers here they will design you what you like not to mention all the great parks and all of mother nature has to offer we have animals running around. Liked the historical aspect of the Stanley hotel and lobby furnishings. Of course, The Shining factor too. Didn't take the tour but wanted a picture of one of the tour guides. She firmly shut down that idea. A reviewer said it cost $10. for parking which is untrue. You can park & visit the garden maze and first floor (the lobby, music room, bar, public bathrooms, small shop or two) but not the upper floors or rooms themselves unless...

Such a nice little stop for some history on Estes Park! The Estes Park Museum is FREE to the public and offers a wonderful historic overview of how the town came to be.

We were greeted by friendly staff, and viewed a video which gave an overview of the museum.

The museum is small, but packed with information.
