Never been so disrespected in my life by someone. My friend and I were going to stay here but the people who own the place were so outrageously rude due to my friend smoking a cigarette OUTSIDE. The lady who was disrespectful said my friend went into the hotel room while smoking, which she DID NOT do, because we aren't going to smoke in our room that's discussing. She also told my friend that if she had to smoke she needed to walk two blocks away, this lady really needs to not treat people so disrespectful. And she threatened me multiple times by saying that if my friend didn't go out and tell her friends to stop smoking that she was going to add $100 to my bill, she then continued to be rude by telling my friend to go out and tell her friends to stop smoking or she would charge my card another $100, and also continued to be rude to me by saying I needed to get my friend back in here or she was going to charge my card when she was the one who demanded her to go out and tell her friends to stop smoking. (they were smoking outside aswell but weren't staying they just road up with us for an event and needed somewhere to get ready, and for the record there are no guest's allowed in your room there at all not even for a minute.) On top of that she had another worker come out to refund us. I will never book or stay here again and trust me there's no reason to when there are so many places you could stay that's not here. Thank you for reading.
Also I booked a room right after she had someone else refund us. The room was 4 dollars more and we ALL decided to stay and there were NO extra charges. On top of that I got a NONSMOKING room and DIDNT get charged extra like the rude lady had stated that I would no matter where we went. No she's just rude and doesn't understand that nonsmoking room means: DON'T SMOKE IN THE ROOM. Just disrespectful..honestly I hope people read the reviews and they don't spend money at the Budget Lodge. There are a lot of bad reviews for the owners who own this place, and they truly shouldn't own a business being that they can't respect...
Read moreI booked through priceline. When arrived was told they dont accept debit cards only credit. When I explained to her that I already paid on line because like ever other motel in town you book you arrive check in and get into a room. The lady at the window tells me price line will put a hold on My card and that I have to pay the motel direct from a credit card . I said then whats the point of booking online she said yea theres not one so my boyfriend said then it should be stated online clear about how the payments work he said one cuss word and she said if you guys dont want to stay here I dont have to rent to you. If your going to cuss I dont want you staying here. Its 830 at night im standing outside in the cold with my 3 year old I said. No we are staying here I have no other option asked if they took cash since I only had debit cards I paid a $100 deposit got my key and went to my room. I then called price line to get the 73 dollars I already paid for back. The guy has to call the lady to verify I paid cash so he can refund me. So when he gets back on the line with me the office lady told him my card was invalid thats why I had to pay cash not that they wouldn't take my payment online like every other motel when booked through price line. Lucky nothing was charged thru priceline I paid almost 30 dollars more in cash and a 100 cash deposit. Compared to only paying 50$ on priceline and no deposit. Other then that the room was nice. Besides the bathroom smelling like hella weed! I got to stay in a bed in the warmth with my 3 year old daughter and boyfriend. Were currently homeless so my little stays at my moms and any chance we get to get a room we do so she can...
Read moreNice place; a pleasant surprise. Mu room (112) was a bit small, and oddly laid out with a kitchenette next to the bathroom, and a wee tiny occasional table at the foot of the bed with a modern armless easy chair next to it; not exactly amenable to firing off e-mails, so I didn't, and caught up Stanger Things instead. Wi-Fi was bangin' fast, which I loved.
The bed was firm, though not the unyielding slab favored by a couple major chains. The room, for all its architectural singularity, smelled... Like nothing at all. Like what 'clean' is supposed to smell like. Really decent water pressure in the shower (again, just clean, but exemplary so) though it took a long time to get to temp.
Four stars. It ain't the Four Seasons, or Top Of The Mark. It's a very, very good $90/night basic accommodation. You won't regret...
