For the price of $150 for 1 night it was just not good and not worth it. I wish I stayed someone else. Very disappointed for the price. There were cracks in the door so you can see through, not private. Very steep stairs that I wish I knew about. Not handicap assessable. If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. Squeaky bed and old bed. We tossed and turned all night. Every time my partner tossed and turned I would bounce awake. We were up all night. No cable and No independent temperature control. I was sweaty and uncomfortable. No blackout curtains and there was light all night from the outside street lights. Everything was out of date. We were able to get into our locked room by just using your finger. Mind you there is only 3 rooms. But there are large gaps in the doors. We were the only people there but privacy would definitely be a concern if others stayed. I will say it was decorated very well but not spectacular and nothing to write home about. Breakfast was not worth it either. I was hoping for freshly made but kept hearing a microwave and tasted less than adequate. They have a great selection of teas and friendly staff but not $150 a night worth… just go for the tea and not...

In the time of Covid, it's not easy to make plans and feel comfortable participating in groups. My friends decided to surprise me with a small birthday celebration at the Emerald Necklace for a High Tea and it was AMAZING. I'm gluten free and the selection of foods were fabulous. I enjoyed every bite (I'm truly stuffed). The tea was divine and I felt like a proper princess with the teacups and required paraphernalia to make a proper cup of tea! The room was very cheery and decorated beautifully. We were there only people there - 7 total. And it was perfect. Our server was sweet, thoughtful, and extremely efficient. We never had to ask for anything and everything was so smoothly delivered between courses. It was the best birthday surprise a girl could want! Two of the 7 were kids and both girls loved their own personal got cocoas, special sandwiches, and fancy desserts. They really do a great job. I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend. And their tea selection is AMAZING!! We all tried something different and shared a bit with each other. They have some unique flavors and something for...

I just celebrated my 30th birthday here this afternoon. My expectations were high, and they were still blown away! Myself plus a party of 8 were very comfortably accommodated for high tea with rather short notice. I called them up a week ago and they happily booked us, and I was happy to take a later booking to accommodate another party. The food was absolutely scrumptious and homemade. I was surprised how full-up we got from just little plates of finger food, a few of us needed boxes and we are a fat family. The atmosphere is a mix of quirky and comfortable, fancy and casual. For a $25 plate, the price simply cannot be beat. It was a unique experience but I plan on coming back often, their high tea would make an excellent second or third date imo and it was the best birthday meal I have ever had. I left with some of their Champaign Rose loose tea blend for home and it is so floral, bright yet muted and subtle. Clevelanders should be talking...

This was my first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast. I was a little apprehensive since I was traveling alone, but I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Check-in was a breeze and the room was very clean. There were plenty of delicious tea and coffee options available upon arrival. The inn keeper’s mother was lovely and popped over shortly after I arrived to show me around and ask what time I’d like breakfast. I slept great and the room had a lovely bath tub to wind down after a long drive. In the morning, I had to leave earlier than expected. As I was leaving I popped in to the dining area to let the inn keeper, Anna, know and she was insistent that she could whip me up some breakfast quickly. She was beyond kind and the breakfast was fabulous. Some of the best waffles I’ve ever had! Anna, thank you again for breakfast and the stay. I hope to return sometime in the future with a partner for an entire weekend.

Here’s a personal and warm post you can use for the Emerald Necklace Tea Room: --- This wasn’t my first time at the Emerald Necklace Tea Room—but it was absolutely the best visit yet! I went to celebrate my friend Angela’s birthday, and we had such a marvelous time. The decor is always so charming and inviting—it really sets the perfect mood for a special afternoon. While chicken salad isn’t my thing, and I had to skip the little s’mores dessert (I don’t eat pork), I didn’t mind at all. There were so many delicious options to choose from that I still left feeling completely satisfied. I did miss the brownie they had on my last visit but honestly, the overall experience more than made up for it. Can’t wait to come back again!

I love this place so much! We live in Columbus and my husband come to Cleveland for work all the time. This place is the place that we'll stay! We love the lady who works here, we love the room that really cozy and most importantly we love the breakfast! It's not super fancy but everything is perfect all the time. They have fresh fruit, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and breakfast. If you stay here, you didn't get just good bed and good food but the atmosphere and everything in this place will make you happy and cozy. Sometimes we just come to Cleveland to just stay here and relax. Come and stay! There tea room is nice too 10 out of 5 stars for this place. My favorite B&B for all time!
