I don't normally post reviews on hotels because they are more or less all the same in the 31 states I've been to. This hotel is different. Starting with checking in, the two girls at the front desk service was stellar, explaining the hotel policies and letting me know where close by things were and generally were very helpful. For the price I paid, the room was fantastic, they allow dogs with a $25 pet fee, there is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a great location near an amusement park and across the street from a large convience store. The room itself was great, with an actual walk in shower which is an absolute rarity and blessing compared to the typical nasty bathtub showers most hotels have. Everything was clean, and the beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. If I have to nitpick to be fair, the only things wrong with this hotel (and I'm reaching here) is that the pool was a bit dated and the hallway on the 4th floor was pretty hot. Other than that, for the price these rooms go for this is a steal. If you're still undecided I didn't find any hotel nearby that was as decent as this one in its price range. If I ever go through that way again, I will be sure to come back to this hotel if needed. Top tier service. Great work y'all.

My family stayed here to visit Lagoon, which is right across the street. It's so close you can see the sign from many of the rooms. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from Lagoon, which is also very convenient, although when returning I just walked back since it's so close. It only took about 10 minutes walking once outside the park. The room was very clean and well maintained. The reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because one of the main reasons we chose to stay at this hotel was for the included hot breakfast. It was pretty disappointing, with some of the items bordering on gross. Tastes vary, but the "egg white frittata" tasted mostly like processed cheese, and the 1st morning the turkey sausage patties were just warmed (thawed?) and not even browned. The other options were the standard waffles, bagels/pastries/bread, cereal, and oatmeal. Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay at that is very convenient when visiting Lagoon, but don't expect too much from the breakfast.

I stayed over a weekend as I was instructing a course nearby. The resort is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful; customer service is exceptional. I stayed in a non-smoking king bedroom. It was spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave, desk, full length mirror, spacious bathroom (including a large shower...as opposed to a tub shower combo). Im not sure the room was completely cleaned before I arrived (thus the 4 stars) as I found a pair of socks on the floor in front of the desk. Also, bring ear plugs because the walls are paper thin. I could hear every nearby conversation and elephant steps above me. I would absolutely stay here again. The entire facility is very well maintained and homey.

This hotel is very clean, the front desk staff were professional but not extremely friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory in terms of what was available. The hotel is taking precautions and the attendant is serving each guest one by one so that was nice. The smoothies were probably the best part of breakfast as the rest of our food was room temperature. The breakfast attendants were right to the point and helpful. Again not extremely friendly. We spent time in the pool both days of our stay. The first day the pool was cold, really cold and the hot tub was about the temperature of a heated pool. The chemicals were almost unbearable. The second day was much better The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot like it should be (still lots of chemicals). There were plenty of towels and there is a large bathroom with a shower for washing before and after if you like ( we do). The beds are ok. My husband hated them. They are what you might expect from a hotel. To hard too actually sleep through the night. It was also a little difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The only real issue was that the TV in our room would not stay on. It would power off at random intervals and at times it would turn back on and at others it would not. We stayed in a king suite and I appreciated the size of the room as we were traveling as a larger family. All in all it felt clean and comfortable ( more so than anywhere we've stayed in the last year) and there are little things that could be improved but if you are looking for a clean (quiet) comfortable hotel I would recommend this place and yes we'd stay here again given the opportunity. Also there is a Smiths around the corner and plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed the Aerospace museum...

I have never written a bad review in my life, I am extremely understanding and reasonable. But, this was hands down the WORST hotel experience I have had in my life. First off, they confused my in laws reservation with my own and told me I only had 1 room reserved (when I had two) and I ended up almost being double changed for the room. But that's not a big deal, mistakes happen. The real issue came when I brought my 6 year old sister, 15 year old brother, and my own baby down to the pool where a group of drunk girls decided to bring their party down to. One of the girls landed on my 6 year old sister (who can't swim and was wearing a floaty in the 3 foot deep end) jumping into the pool. After pulling her out of the water and telling her not to be jumping into the pool like with children around, the girls then became confrontational and yelling in mine and my family's faces. After one of them pushes my 15 year old brother and tries to fight him, A MINOR, I get my family out of the pool area. An employee says he will be calling the cops as we explain what happened but in my amazement when I go down to the front desk a little while later, the cops had not been called and the girls were still in th pool! They didn't even get kicked out of the pool area and all the other family's had left. We asked the cops to be called again, which then they finally were. My family and I shouldn't be forced out of the pool area by a group of hostile drunk girls in a "family friendly" hotel. I was very disappointed with my stay here to...
