I never post reviews or my opinions of places but I have to this time. The level of service and respect I received during my stay was unmatched. Long story short, I’m from Florida, came to Atlanta and unfortunately I had to have a surgery on Jan 2. I was staying alone at an Airbnb in Riverdale and then the winter storm hit. I lost power, heat and mainly ways to warm food. I found this hotel on Google and since it we only 8 miles from my place, thought I’d give it a try to maintain power and heat and also be in a safe place as I continue to heal. As my Lyft driver was dropping me off at the curb with all my pillows, I looked up and saw a true angel come greet me. Her name was Tekita. She grabbed my arm and help me stand up and as I reached for her jacket to hold onto she took my hand into hers and guided me into the lobby. She grabbed my bags and got me seated in the lobby peacefully as she checked me in. I was almost in tears because I was in pain and mentally overwhelmed. I asked her if the restaurant was opened and she said, yes of course, I’ll help you get checked in and then I’ll help you back down stairs for dinner, she gave me the option of sitting and eating instead of getting it to go. She brought all my bags up and she placed them in my room where I wanted them to go. Then I proceeded to dinner for the next 3 hours. The staff checked on me, made sure all of my requests were met and had a genuine smile on their faces as they did so. When I woke up the next morning, I dropped my phone between the bed so I called the front desk for help. I’m not sure what there names were, but 2 employees came and helped me retrieve my phone. Then I went to breakfast since I was already up and ready to eat. I was greeted by Mrs. Stacey who had the Warmest smile on her face. She helped me get comfortable and situated for breakfast, the whole time I’m bent over, with a bath rob on and barely walking. My server was this beautiful young lady who didn’t mind grabbing everything I needed to make me feel comfortable. Everyone was pleasant and helpful, except for this one guy named Mike. He was not compassionate or gentle in tone or actions with me. He treated me like I was bothering him. When I met him the night before he appeared very nice, but the next morning when I needed him to push my seat up, he ignored me and gave me a look as if, don’t ask me anything. So I didn’t. He then proceeded to ignore me the rest of the time and even rolled his eyes when I asked the bartender for something. He never looked my way again, I guess to let me know, he wasn’t helping me do anything. His attitude turned horrible shortly the next morning. I never mentioned this to anyone, I just kept waiting on him to be the same guy from yesterday and it never happened but I felt I needed to say that in my review. Now let’s talk a lot the accommodations. I ate this soup which was the bomb, it was this collard green navy bean sausage soup and a grilled Caesar salad with salmon and it was incredible. I was blown away by the atmosphere, the employees and the food. 10/10 I booked a second night even though my power is back on just to relax and enjoy the hotel. My room was wonderful, very very clean & the pillows were amazing, they helped me rest better when I laid down for the night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area, especially if you are from out of town and want that down home southern feel of hospitality and warmth. Everyone. And I mean everyone was so nice and patient with me, it made me feel comfortable as I’m healing out of state alone. I know for sure, if you need special care or patience during this time of uncertainty Mrs. Tekita is the one to ask for. If you need a hotel that is clean, hospitable and safe, this is the place to be. Mrs. Tekita and Mrs. Stacy if you read this please know from the bottom of my heart, I am thankful for you. My first time in snow, seeing snow or living in snow was unforgettable thanks to you both. I can’t wait...
Read moreBeautiful hotel but that’s it. Arrived at 3 pm to set up a surprise in the room for my husband but was told I couldn’t check in even though I was just an hr early. But that’s not the problem. We get back to the hotel around 9 pm. We had dinner earlier but we started to feel hungry again and wanted to warm up our leftovers. Didn’t see a microwave in our room so we called the front desk to ask them where we can find a microwave to warm up our food. We were told there is no microwave in the entire hotel, only in the extended stay suites. She then told us we can WALK 2-3 minutes down the street to a place that MIGHT have a microwave. A hotel, that is a high end expensive hotel with TWO restaurants on site, does not have a microwave. But it didn’t end there. We decided to just have some tea/coffee instead. We called the front desk and asked where we can get hot water. She said we had to use the “coffee machine” in the room. So we try to use said coffee machine and it was plugged out, however it would not turn on and we realized it was not plugged in. We couldn’t plug it in because the cord was through a tiny hole in the armoire so we weren’t physically able to reach the outlet. That means we had to move the entire coffee machine to another outlet to use it. But we realized the place to put the water was wide open, uncovered and we had nothing to wash out any residue/dust that had accumulated. We let the front desk know and they said they will try to warm up some hot water (how are you warming it up with no microwave? But I digress). My husband stated that his wife and himself needed hot water. She brought up one cup of hot water. $200/night and unable to get hot water. Next, we tried to plug in our fire stick to watch something good. The movies they had on the tv were $20 each. We plugged in the fire stick but it would not let us watch from a different input. With the exception of beautiful views and exceptional decor, the price of this hotel does not account for details and customer care. Very...
Read moreThis Thanksgiving was truly special for my family and me! With a group of 13 spanning from adults to children, we knew it could be a challenge to find a place that would accommodate us comfortably, but we hit the jackpot here. From the start, we were treated like VIPs, with a private room reserved just for our party. It made the experience feel even more intimate and allowed us to enjoy the day with ease.
The food was nothing short of fantastic. The variety was impressive, offering something for everyone, whether you’re into traditional holiday dishes or looking for something a bit more adventurous. The wine selection was spot-on, complemented by strong, well-made cocktails that satisfied even the most discerning drinkers in our group. A special shoutout to the female bartender, who had recently returned after being on leave. She was absolutely wonderful and added an extra touch of customer service that made us feel even more welcome. Her attention to detail and cheerful demeanor were a standout.
What stood out the most was how relaxed we felt throughout the entire meal. The staff ensured we had everything we needed without hovering, and we never felt rushed. Kaliyma, our server, was a true gem, attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead of us. She, the bartender and the staff (I wish I knew everyone's name) went above and beyond to make the experience memorable.
An added bonus was the convenience of skipping the usual post-meal chaos at home. We got to spend quality time together without the stress of cooking or cleaning up, a gift in itself. After our meal, we took a stroll around Trilith, soaking in the festive atmosphere and snapping pictures near the stunning Christmas tree. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day.
All in all, this Thanksgiving was a hit. We’ll absolutely be returning for future celebrations. The combination of delicious food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it unforgettable....
