Not the worst but not the best. Decent hotel for an emergency stop we needed to make traveling with kids and my elderly mother (we were stuck on I-40 at a standstill while it shutdown for 8 hours in Brinkley due to a tanker explosion/multi tractor trailer and vehicle accident - horrible situation). Rooms are updated but the sheets in the double queen room we had were dirty. Beds were decently comfortable, good shower with nice soaps. My biggest complaint besides the dirty sheets on one of the beds, was the gap around the door frame of our king room. I could easily slide the do not disturb sign right through it and light shined in from the hallway all night, compromising the locking mechanism on the door. I definitely did not sleep as well because of this and woke up several times checking the door with noise in the hallway. We got in at midnight and didn’t bother complaining about either issues and just wanted to tough through it after almost succumbing to sleeping in the car in the middle of I40 with hundreds of other people. Breakfast was awesome as always at IHG hotels, but kids were sad the pancake machine was out of service. Janine in the buffet area was the sweetest! In a pinch, we’d stay again but wouldn’t make this a planned stop.

For more than $150 for two beds, it's almost three times more expensive than motels in the surrounding area; but, it's 10 times better than sleeping in a dilapidated shanty that's you'd get for $60. The toilet paper isn't what you would expect to find in a hotel. It's serviceable but not single ply. Almost as good as the stuff you might get at home. Which was better than I was expecting. Liquid soaps included. The room is perfectly clean and squared away. The air conditioner functions and is loud enough to drown out any of the noise coming from your neighbors while keeping the room at a nice cool 60° if you wished it. Staff was very friendly and parking is plenty for a Wednesday.

We loved our stay here. The price was great, the rooms were clean, and the staff was attentive. The beds were really comfortable and we had an amazing sleep. The exercise room was perfect with a resistance station, elliptical, stationary bike, and treadmill. Breakfast had a lot of options including cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, veggie egg white omelets, turkey sausage, pork sausage, pancakes, breads, fruit, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

I must say this time I am very disappointed. I stopped here with my granddaughter, had to pay well over what I would normally pay for 1 night, because all they had left were suites. There was a very loud obnoxious birthday party in the pool area so we could not use that. Turns out the Birthday party was in the room next to ours and they brought the party upstairs. so a little after 10 pm, they were still very loud with the door slamming and kids screaming, running and jumping. I called the front desk and they said they would handle it. At 11pm they were even louder, I called again and now the night crew was on, they said that they had called the room and asked them to be quiet. they also called and texted the manager but he has not answered. At 12AM I actually banged on the wall. and called the front desk again, still know response from the manager. I had been driving all day and I am exhausted, and have to drive another six hours in the morning. At 1230 AM the music started, it was so loud it actually rattled the windows in my room and the end of the hall. and the Children are still screaming, running about and the doors are slamming. 1 am I finally went down to the lobby and the girl at the desk still had not heard from her manager! and I told her that I did not pay for a room to not sleep, I could have saved the money and driven straight through. the front desk attendant said I was not the only complaint. I further told the girl at the desk that a phone call to that room was not enough, someone had to address the situation. I told her if she did not call the police I would. Finally about 2 am I was able to get some sleep. when I checked out the next morning, still no one had heard from the manager. It is obvious he/she doesn't doesn't seem to care as no one has reached out to me to try to make it right, even though I have called twice since my stay. This hotel and employees had no control over its property and the guests...

Stayed here overnight with my family on a cross country trip. Experience was a mix of good and bad. I’ll list both

Pros:

Extremely convenient. Right next to the interstate and easy to find. The room was clean. I mean absolutely spotless. The beds were comfy and we slept well. Very quiet, since it was a full house that night, judging by how full the parking lot was. And the breakfast was great. Coffee was exceptionally good. And the room price was reasonable for a decent hotel in a safe area

Cons

We checked in at 10:30 after a hard days driving. Front desk staff weren’t very friendly. Not exactly rude, but not very welcoming. The room was booked for 4 people, but only had three sets of towels. That’s happened to me at other hotels as well. I don’t get it. If it’s a room designed to sleep four, you put in four sets of towels. That’s a no brainer. When I went down at 11pm to get another towel the front desk staff were a little put off by the request. I guess I interrupted their TV and gossip time. There was also only a partial almost empty roll of toilet paper. Had to ask for that too. The tub drained very slowly. That would be an easy fix with a little Drano. And in the morning the housekeeping staff sat outside the front entrance for a few minutes, smoking, chatting and dropping f bombs in every sentence. I’ve worked plenty of blue collar jobs in my life. I know how jobs like that are, but just go behind the building to do that, away from where people are going in and out with their children. It’s a little unprofessional.

All in all, it’s a decent place for a one night stay. But with a few simple inexpensive changes it could be an...

Anthony the night clerk was extremely rude and had poor customer service.

He couldn't/wouldn't help me with a reservation. I am an IHG loyal member, we had been traveling for a long time and was looking for a place to stay. Anthony said that he could not help me with a room. I explained my situation and asked if could please help. He sucked his teeth, rewrapped his self in his blanket and said that he could give me a room for 80.00 more than what was advertised on the IHG web site. I walked away, called customer service and the lady helped me, I got the room at the cheaper rate. When we walked back in with our bags, Anthony "huffed" his breath as if I was a bother. Wraps himself again in the blanket and says "Yes"? I told him I made the reservation and gave him my name. He "huffs" again and prints out paperwork. He highlights some areas, mind you no eye contact, no pleasant greeting, poor customer service and tells me to initial and sign. After I did, I slid the paperwork back facing him and put the pen on top. He looks and me and looks at the paperwork and said "You did not sigh here!" I looked at it and said Well, you did not highlight here!" The then took the highlighted and went across the line and gave the paperwork back to me. I signed and said "if you are having a bad night maybe you should go home or not have came into work." I take my keys and go to my room. I did tell the lady at the desk the next morning and she apologized. Everything else was great except making my reservation and my encounter...
