Had some flight issues in Nashville, so I rented a car and drove back home. Around 11pm I was getting tired so I decided to stay in Forrest City Ar. A quick Google search, and I found the Comfort Inn and Suites. Gave them a call and book a room easy enough with a nice clerk...although she spoke way to many words for it being that late at night...got there and was greeted by a friendly staff member and check in was a breeze. The elevator was out of service which could have been a slight inconvenience but I was on the first floor. Got to my room and was very impressed....let's be honest I would have stayed just about anywhere but I was really pleased with the room. Gigantic, spacious, couch, storage, king bed. I spent the whole week at the Gaylord Opryland...and this room was probably better than what I had been in...its a shame I was only there for about 5 hours to catch a little sleep. It was clean, had great water temperature and even better eater pressure. Probably my only critique was the walls were incredible thin. You could hear everything...radios people getting ready, talking, etc. Minor inconvenience, and not worth docking a star. And all for $135. Not sure how many people have to stay in Forrest City, but I don't think you'd go wrong staying here.

This motel seemed nice and the lady at the front was very kind! When we got into our room I first noticed it was spacious and appeared clean. After being here for a little while I noticed my 8 month old pick something up from the foot of the bed and when I took it from him it was a pill! I instantly went into panic and called poison control! Thankfully it was an allergy pill and wouldn’t harm him! I am just so thankful it wasn’t anything that could harm him. When you are asking almost $200 a night mistakes like that should never be made.. After the pill was found me and my husband looked around the room and found other stuff throughout including a tums and multiple chocking hazards. See the linked picture. The rooms need to be cleaned better. We were in room 108 on July 1st.

So nice! It's a treasure for sure! We loved the place. Super nice people, walk was nice not to strenuous, but there is places that is more difficult than others. Other guests had a 2 year old that was very mobile, and they walked it. It was slow, but she did it. We didn't do the whole park, just a section of it since we had a long drive back home. Free parked, and the admission wasn't much. $10 per person. Restrooms are on site and were nice and clean.

Updated review 3 years later...... I took their response to heart and gave it a second shot on Memorial day weekend. 100 percent happy with my stay this time around. Ladies at front desk were so kind. Very professional! The room was huge and clean! This will be my go-to spot for any future visits to Arkansas. Also...... I'm not a breakfast person, but the breakfast was 10 out of 10! Old review below.... I love that they delivered on their promise to make it better! I highly recommend this hotel!

My stay would have easily been five stars were it not for the check in girl upon arrival. The room was very clean, the rate was high for the location. (no attractions nearby, small town, etc) however, for as big and clean as the room was I would still pay that again if not for poor service skills upon check in. I have no idea if they serve breakfast because the girl barely looked at or spoke to me. She seemed annoyed with my mere presence. I got no name but she was thin and blonde. She never greeted me or smiled. I had to initiate my own check in. Then she answered the phone and became even more distracted if that's possible. She put someone on hold and rang someone else to tell them that whoever was on the phone and they were chewing her out. I feel like I shouldn't have heard that convo. She handed me paperwork while she was still on the phone to sign but didn't give me a pen and seemed annoyed when I asked for one. I almost decided to walk out and go to the Holiday Inn at that point but stuck it out. She never told me anything. She just handed me my card. Didn't say anything about breakfast or the pool or even check out. However the next morning there was a shorter blonde that checked me out and she was a doll. Also housekeeping spoke to me and made me feel like a human again . That was refreshing. One person sure can ruin a good thing. All evening I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable due to that experience . It really sucked. Especially after shelling out 150. 00..... The room was great. Super clean. Big enough for a family although I was alone. Huge TV. Felt safe. Nice fridge and microwave. Well...

We had the worst experience at this hotel. We paid over $180 for a 2 star “suite” that was intended to accommodate our family by having a pullout sofa. When we go to our room (exhausted after a long day on the road) we discovered the pullout sofa was non functional and the actual sofa had collapsed in places not having any support for the cushions. When we called the front desk a kind woman (Mary) came to our room to try to help. She realized there was nothing she could do and was embarrassed because they did not have a room to move us to. She also expressed multiple guests had the same issue. She gave us two choices: 1. Leave and switch hotels or 2. Get a significant discount and make do with the room. We took a moment and were unable to find a room in the area and it was already after 11pm so we decided to make the best of it with the expectation we would be compensated. We let Mary know this decision and she assured us Krista the front desk manager would generously compensate us she. She arrived at 7am. Half of have us ended up sleeping on the dirty floor with the minimal sheet and thin blanket provided.

In the morning we contacted Krista who was kind as well. She was embarrassed and agreed with our grievances and also assured us we would be taken care of. She just needed to contact her GM.

She shortly called back and offered $25 credit which was all the GM Audra would authorize. I was insulted by this. Paying over $160 to sleep on a dirty floor in a 2 star hotel is not ok.

I asked to speak with the GM and was just given a card and sent on my way.

I will disputing these charges unless another provision is extended. We paid for a suite with sleeping accommodations for 4 and were given a room with one bed and the other dangerous and dysfunctional.

How this GM thinks offing less than a 20% discount is suitable is beyond me.

As a choice member I will not trust your hotels again. And most definitely...

First I’ll start by saying that we are SO picky with hotels. I read all of the reviews before I consider booking anywhere. I really just care about hotel cleanliness and it being in a safe area. We don’t eat breakfast at hotels so I can’t vouch for that, but we’re pleasantly impressed with this hotel! Check in was very easy and the front desk person was friendly. We got a pet room that was on ground level (SO CONVENIENT), the room was very clean, I didn’t have any suspicion about the sheets not being changed, it all felt very clean. The room was also surprisingly spacious, we had a king bed, a desk, and a sitting area with a couch. The bathroom was clean but it’s due for remodeling. Shower water pressure was great! The hotel location felt very safe and we didn’t worry about our vehicle being broken into, we saw signs that the police station was near by. The hotel can’t control how their guests act so it’s not really their fault but we could hear people stomping on the floor above us and briefly hear other guests conversations. It wasn’t terrible though, and only lasted a short time. We didn’t experience any traffic noise and our room was very quiet (almost too quiet, we had to put on sleep sounds because it was silent). We were just passing through the state and needed somewhere to crash for a few hours overnight, we would have loved staying at this hotel for several days! We will definitely...
