Happy Customer here. We stayed in this brand new Fairfield just weeks after it had opened. A pleasant surprise was that we were able to check -in very early. All was new and bright and fresh. The rates are competitive in a sometimes over-priced city. The hotel is conveniently located just off the Interstate on Harmony and is easy to find. There is lots of free parking off the street. Right across the parking lot are some eateries and a late night brew pub. Down the road and across the Interstate one can find a shopping mall area that will supply most of what could ever be needed, including Starbucks. The hotel features interior elevators and corridors, with a mini convenience store that has a small selection of necessities up front. No vending machines except ice, because of this. The local newspaper is complimentary. Welcoming 'living area' across from the front desk, with large breakfast area towards the rear. Each has Internet connections and, throughout the hotel, the WiFi is free. This is advertised as a business hotel, but we were leisure guests and felt right at home. The free Breakfast has mini waffles and lots of other good hot choices, including eggs and breakfast meats. The area is bright and clean and cheerful. Coffee is good too. I did speak to the front desk about the maid service vacuuming excessively during breakfast hours. It is quite loud and not relaxing before the start of a busy day. And also in the elevators. Yes, this must be done, but not when people are actively checking out. For one full day, one of two elevators was temporarily shut down, leaving only one which was being cleaned. This maid service issue downgraded my rating. We stayed on the top floor in the front corner. It was quite windy during our stay and one could feel the floor vibrate. They said this was normal. The room was quite comfortable and had enough space for travelers with extra luggage. Good general, and task specific lighting. The bathroom was sleek and modern, well-lit, and the shower was easy to set and had wonderful water pressure. The beds are very comfortable and provided restful sleep. Room temperature is controlled by a thermostat on the wall which actually works! Friendly front desk people, who like their jobs, and this shows. This hotel was close to our destination and we have reason to travel to this area fairly often. We will plan to...
Read moreFirst of all we booked two rooms with this hotel under special rate cos my sister works for Marriott. Booked one room under my husband and my name but my cousin and her husband stayed in the other room under my name (which I don’t see a problem cos they are with us). We stayed at this hotel for over a week and they only did service our rooms maybe twice cos we asked for it but never change the comforter for our beds (like Wtheck). However, the day we were suppose to stay that night before we c/o I went down to fd to do c/o c/i our room, the assistant manager told me right there we needed to check out already and they are not going to extend our stay. They went off saying there was complaining about the noise from our rooms (which there was no noise). I asked her why didn’t they call us about the noise etc cos our whole stay no one mention anything about noise from our room. She then talked about mis-using the employment rate when literally both my husband and I stayed in the hotel and each rooms was under our names and the other family was with us stayed there😡. I asked the assistant manager why didn’t they told us before hand they not gonna extend our stay and she said they just made the decision that morning like who the heck does that??? This hotel is the most racist and bs ever!!! If they can’t serve the families of those working for Marriott then why the heck they are there😡plus they shouldn’t be coming to work with their kids cos I’ve worked for Marriott myself and they don’t allow kids at work!!!!!!I will be talking to corporate about this situation!!!! So unprofessional as they need to work on making sure their breakfast is 5 star. The whole time we were there it was the same breakfast everyday and by 8am the food will be finished the lady works there don’t even refill it. The most lazy and unprofessional ppl. Beware of staying at this hotel cos the management is a...

Rooms are clean. Windows may be opened a couple inches, which is nice. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Toiletries as provided are nice, though the dispensers were empty of shampoo and body wash on arrival. Shower didn't drain well. Hair dryer was good.
Coffee machine was good. There are no full length mirrors in the room, and not enough of a coat rack area for 2 people to use. There is a good sized desk and a small closet, which was good. Iron and board worked well and were clean etc.
One bedside table had a drawer etc and the other side didn't, which was annoying.
Light on the desk didn't work, tried other outlets. Wasn't an outlet issue. Room door has no bar to flip over and prevent the door from closing/locking you out on a quick trip down the hall. New key was easy enough to get.
Breakfast is... Underwhelming.
The worst offenders to me were the egg and sausage tray. Overcooked, unseasoned and beaded with moisture from the steam that dissipated inside the tray. I tried a (room temp) cheese omelet thing, and there was a crunchy segment due to overcooking that was also moist from the sweaty droplets of condensation. Sausage rounds were limply draped in a watery pool of grease and condensation. The juice was fine, and the coffee also. There are hardboiled eggs in 2packs. Slightly stale croissants and decent English muffins to toast.
Overall, it's fine. Not exactly...
