(My real name is Anna fyi). We stayed here for our 2nd year wedding anniversary for the last 2 days. We got the room with the jetted tub and fireplace inside the room. OMG, that was the most incredible and romantic room, and I absolutely loved it! I can't wait to stay again. I'm not used to super fancy things like this, so it meant the world to me that we could find a place like this that was within our budget. I almost booked at ameristar in black hawk but they charge more than twice as much for a similar room for just 1 night. So we were able to extend our vacation by another day. And this was especially priceless to us because we didn't get to do anything romantic last year for our first year wedding anniversary due to not having a babysitter. 🥹 Anyway! This entire lodge is absolutely beautiful and so cozy. It looks rustic with its log features, built back into the trees with a beautiful view, and very clean. It was really quiet the entire time we were there as well. I don't think I even heard another person! Also, every single employee that I had the pleasure of meeting was so friendly, kind, and more than helpful. That alone can make or break someone's experience, and it made our stay just that much better. Wow! This place is a class act! The management there is absolutely phenomenal. I totally understand why this company would hire the management they have. Being a manager for Comfort Inn Suites is certainly an accomplishment and I don't want to fabricate anything, so correct me if I’m wrong but am I correct when I say the management there has definitely found the right calling, with a job that must have so much meaning!!?? Why was my experience worth 5 stars..... well management was still willing to accommodate my guests that had booked rooms after canceling my entire wedding block! I really am so very grateful that these 9 people still have a room!!! The other 100 guests are missing out if they didn’t book a room :) We had a bit of a bump in the road with communication but now it has all been sorted out in a such a professional manner that I wanted to make sure I gave your management team the credit they deserve for all the hard work that was put into figuring out our initial issues. I’m so happy I’ve had an opportunity to work with such an amazing company! You really can’t find customer service like that anywhere else! I mean, look at all the other reviews, the proof is in the pudding....after reading the experiences other wedding parties have had, its clear this place really knows how to make the big day special and be accommodating for everyone involved!
