Illegal Burger - Evergreen — Restaurant in Colorado

Terrible, we walked in and the place was dirty, floors where sticky, and the trash was overflowing. No lids for our drinks, and no ice either..... The girls taking our order was rude, i asked what kind of beer they had on tap since it was clearly written on the menu draft with a price next to it, and she told me, "we don't serve draft beer here, if you want draft you are better off eating next door" whoa!!!! I cant make this stuff up!!! My daughter ordered a kids grilled cheese and the meal didn't even come with the whole sandwitch, she only got half. Really guys..... my green chilli cheese fries where cold in the middle, like they didn't put it in the microwave long enough. Also, the burger meat is just nasty frozen beef patties.... Nice creative menu, but we where very disappointed. Not worth it, way overpriced for how gross it was. Our check was $68.00 for 3 adults and one child. Way overpriced. Would have rather eaten Mcdonalds around the corner, at least they are clean, have ice and lids, serve you warm food, and don't give you half a sandwitch, and it would have been cheaper, and without the rude attitude. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...

I moved into the neighborhood a couple of months ago and have visited this place once and Kalaka twice. The food at Kalaka is far better than here.

Recently, while looking for work, I called to inquire if they were hiring and asked to speak with a manager. Instead of a straightforward response, the person on the phone rudely replied, "Why?! What do you need?!" Despite my efforts to explain that I was seeking employment, he grew increasingly frustrated and unprofessional with every attempt I made to clarify.

This experience left me feeling that this isn’t a place I’d want to work at—or even visit again. It’s baffling, especially when comparing this to the kindness and professionalism I experienced at Kalaka, given that both restaurants share the same owner and appear to have interchangeable staff.

Unfortunately, due to this unnecessary rudeness and lack of professionalism, I don’t plan to return to either location, whether for food or work. It’s disappointing because Kalaka was the only place I knew that had Negra...

We keep really wanting to like this place, but we've tried to eat from here twice now and keep running into trouble. The first time we ordered, got our food, and my husband's veggie burger was a beef burger. It was getting close to closing time so they wouldn't make and send out a new one, they just refunded his burger and he didn't have dinner that night. Tonight, we tried to place an order through UberEats. I guess it must have been close to closing again... even though it showed up as an option in UberEats, they cancelled our order. We didn't realize this until our delivery window an hour later, by then it was too late to order from anywhere else. Once again, we are hungry =( The food sure looks good, but don't even try to order anywhere NEAR when they close!

**Edited to add that we tried to give them another shot today and it looks like they no longer offer any veggie...
