BurgerSear — Restaurant in Colorado

I stopped by Smiling Moose and decided to try the waffles — and they did not disappoint! They were golden, fluffy, and had just the right crisp on the edges. I got mine with butter and syrup, and it was simple but hit the spot. The portion was solid, and I left feeling full but not overstuffed.

The vibe of the restaurant was cozy, with a casual, welcoming feel. Staff was friendly and the service was quick, even though it was a bit busy when I went.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish they had some extra topping options like berries or whipped cream without charging extra — but overall, I’d definitely come back. Next time I’ll try...

Glad we found this place! Traveling back to Denver from the mountains, the family was getting hungry. We decided to give Smiling Moose & Burger Sear a shot. I had the mother load hoagie - it was killer! The rest of the family had burgers and thoroughly enjoyed them. Obviously not frozen ground beef. And for a few dollars more we were able to make them a combo with waffle fries, mac and cheese or even a salad. Oh yeah, and a drink included. Really enjoyed the chill atmosphere, and our burgers were delicious! My husband ordered the BBQ Western Burger, I had the Steakhouse Burger and our toddler had a cheeseburger which came with milk and option of a side (he chose the cookie!).
