QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Colorado

I am changing my review from one star to five stars. EDIT; Against my better judgment my wife and I decided to give Qdoba one more chance last night (3/2/2023 8:30 pm). The first thing we noticed was the place was very clean. Even the lights and ductwork were clean. The trash cans were not overflowing this time, the bathroom had both paper towels and soap. Hot sauce was available, the tables and floors were not sticky. Even the vents on the ice machine were clean. We both ordered bowls the ingredients were fresh (probably the best food I have ever received from this location). The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I noted that a new dumpster had been installed closer to the restaurant I will bet this helps the staff a lot with getting trash out of the building. After reading all of the Google reviews about this location prior to leaving the original review I did not feel the conditions of this location would ever change but, I was wrong. Great job listening to customers and making major changes to make this a viable option for dining in Evergreen. Keep up the great work and thank you for correcting the issues that have plagued this location for so many years.

I ordered a burrito bowl, the steak was so old it was not edible I decided right away it was not worth complaining about. I was able to eat around it. No hot sauce or forks had to eat with a spoon. The dining area and bathroom was filthy. Trash cans in the dining area and bathroom were overflowing onto the floor. No soap or paper towels in the bathroom. Two female employees were working at the time. The one that I am assuming is the manager did not look up from her phone the entire 45 minutes I was there. She was standing in front of the cash register but when it was time for her to do some work she left leaving all aspects of running the restaurant to the other employee. Only one there, 3 people taking care of me, yet mass confusion. I ordered a burrito, a taco bowl, and a kids quesadilla. Simple enough. As one guy was taking my burrito order another was shouting at me to tell him what went on the taco bowl. Manage my way through that then out comes an adult quesadilla. I told him that I had ordered the kids meal and that I wanted an applesauce and a milk. The 3rd guy at the counter is now asking me what else I want - chips and a drink - and now the first guy is ringing something into the cash register. After I paid guy #3 hands me a cup - I tell him he forgot the milk and he says I ordered a kids soft drink and that he would have to re-ring it to give me a milk. I asked again and he finally just gave me the milk but seemed put out by the request. Never was given a receipt so not sure what I was actually charged for but was just happy I got food. Got home and it was not up to normal Q standards. Qdoba overall is good but this location is suspect. This location is TERRIBLE, save your money, eat elsewhere, or stop in Denver before you make your trek home. Customer service is non-existent. I have been about half a dozen times, and each time it gets worse and worse. They are usually out of 2-5 ingredients and don't seem to ever have them such as (corn salsa, guac, chicken), I'm talking staple menu items. They don't even care that they are out, I bet they aren't out but don't want to go pull any more from the back. Last night I asked for salsa verde, the spoon was missing, and the guy looked at me like "can't you get a different salsa", he reluctantly went to the back to get a spoon but spent 5 minutes talking to someone in the back instead of coming right back out - mind you there were a minimum of 10 people behind me as well.

This place is a joke of a restaurant, and the franchise owners are failing miserably. Again, save your money, and if you really want Qdoba, hit it up in Denver instead of regretting your meal at...
