Eagle Springs Lodge West — Hotel in Four Corners States

Our room 2012 is very run down. The carpet smells like beer and is falling apart. The bed in the master bedroom has an ancient mattress and the bed frame is about to collapse. Most of the furniture is rickety and dated. It is hard to understand why the mountain maintains all its great facilities so well and then rents out these yucky rooms. The condo was great - clean, new, beds were excellent and bathrooms were very nice. The layout was good, very spacious and a wonderful sunny deck. The hot tub was 2 floors down and we used it every day. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Access to the mountain was easy and lockers were on the first floor. We visited in the summer time and stayed in room 206. It was about 14 degrees cooler up here than at the mouth of the canyon. The pool area was awesome with the kids.
