Solitude Mountain Spa — Local services in Four Corners States

My wife had really high hopes for this spot during our weekend getaway from the heat in the Salt Lake Valley. Man, what a disaster. As others have said, it was in a basement, not well ventilated, with drop ceilings. The fan that was theoretically there to help the lack of ventilation was never turned on. All in all, less of a “spa” look and more of a jail holding cell. The color was khaki. Rather than a peaceful arrival, as is customary in a relaxation environment, the woman at the front was yelling into the phone about some other reservation. Jarring. Truly. Then the massage dude comes out and “great, you’re my 11:00, come with me.” A “hello, how are you?” Would be nice. As for the massage, the guy was … ok … actually, not really. She described it as him seeming to know every spot that may hurt and then paused there for maximum pain. Of all the spas my wife has enjoyed over the years, this was by far - not even close - the worst experience. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Very enjoyable. Not overly fancy, but the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I had a salt glow scrub followed by a 60 minute massage with extra fifteen minutes foot enhancement.
