My Wife and I purchased a bed on Nov. 14th 2015. I decided to spend the extra money on a quality bed due to back issues in the hopes that it would help. Sleepnumber had a pretty decent reputation for helping back issue's, and along with the veteran's day sale it was a decent deal. I also purchased a K2 for the kid's bedroom. I was told when I purchased the bed's it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery.
It is now Dec. 28th 2015. My bed was suppose to come weeks ago's. When they finally called me 3 weeks after they took my money, the only date available was the Dec. 29th. Home delivery is suppose to call you 2-3 business days prior to that date to give you a four hour window. I hadn't received one so I called them. Well, Jokes on me. They now can't do delivery until Jan. 14th. I'm glad I spent 6k in a store that doesn't really care if you get your product in time or when you're expecting it.
And don't even bother expecting customer service to help you, they just pawn you off to a voicemail line that is "the claim management line" which no one calls you back from. At this point I'm going to have to cancel the order and find a company that will actually show up at my door with a mattress when they say.
I even called the store to receive answers and they promised to call me back. Still no call and the store is closed...
Read moreDo not get this bed... This is a glorified air mattress. Not a bad thing in itself because it's pretty sweet with the individual adjustments and air response. BUT IT'S STILL AN AIR MATTRESS and like all air mattresses they eventually start losing air. Sleep number only covers the air chamber fully for a year. Which other $2000 goes bad and is not covered after 2 years. So do yourself a favor and look for a quality bed
In response... I did acknowledge that that bed was more than an air mattress... BUT it's still only functions because of air. So when it leaks its just like a regular air mattress... FLAT. Well except it cost $2000. Also when you call the agents seem to be trained to cut you off for complaining about that glaring HOLE ( pun intended) in their after purchase service. SO AGAIN... I would compare the experience to buying a luxury vehicle. He didn’t press nor try to sway our opinion of which bed he thought would be a great fit. Instead he helped us identify our sleep number while sharing a presentation of exactly how much pressure is relieved when the bed conforms to your body. This was incredible. My entire life I thought a firm mattress is what my body desired most until we found sleep number. I’ve never laid on something so comfortable. Dave laid out all of our options for bed selection to include the mattress going for 50% off due to a Presidents’ Day sale. All in all - no regrets. My wife and I ended up choosing the I10 split top.
