MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Terrible treatment from the manager! No replace of pizza and not refund! This evening my daughters took my granddaughter for dinner here and they have a RACE treatment from the manager only because they asked nicely for another pizza due to a mistake of the cook dropping by accidente on my eight years- old granddaughter's cheese and pepperoni pizza some pesto sauce, she is allergic to nuts and we can't have the chance to run to the hospital because they careless on the food. He approached to my daughter with a loud voice saying there were not nuts in that place. His voice was so loud ! That called the attention of the rest of the customers in the place. His attitude absolutely is not acceptable to treat spanish people like he did it. He has not the right to raise his voice to young people only because their appearance. My eight year old grandchild was completely scare and down listening and seeing this unprofessional manager attitude to them! So disappointed ! A apology and replace a single child pizza would have been the response of a good manager. The pizzeria won't be out of business for replacing a single pizza. The life of a person worthy more...

We arrived around 12pm for lunch. My group of 4 were the only people in line, yet we waited for about 20 minutes before they even started to take our orders. During that time, they completely ignored us standing at the counter as they made online orders. There was no acknowledgement that we were there, and no indication of when they’d get to us. My three friends ordered pizzas, paid, and went to sit down. I had to wait longer to order a salad, and then found out they were out of several ingredients. Then I had to wait again at the register for someone to come ring me up. As we waited, I noticed the girl who was cooking the pizzas, cutting them, and placing them on plates, neither had her long hair tied up out of her way nor did she wear gloves. I watched her place her hands all over plates and sometimes on food/in sauces that went on top of the pizzas. My friend later found a strand of that employee’s hair in her pizza. We brought it to the attention of the staff, yet the girl’s hair was still not fixed when we left.

The long wait times, poor customer service, and general inattention to cleanliness were disappointing. This location...

Revisiting MOD Pizza August 19th, 2025 -

Me and the fiancee was craving MOD again, so we decided to give it another shot. We walked in and were immediately greeted to our surprise. The workers were very nice and the atmosphere was completely different. I will say "kudos" to the management team for changing the environment and making the establishment an enjoyable experience. We will probably become regulars. Oh and pizza was yet again superb.

We walked in and the place was not inviting. There was one girl and 3 other guys there. The girl was the only one taking orders while the other guys were just standing around not really doing anything. There could have been atleast another working helping her out, but instead I had to sit and wait while one worker was doing nothing at all. As we checked out, I told the guy thanks for the sauce and he just said "yep". The entire crew was very rude. Again, I don't know if this MOD Pizza is racist or not, but the place gives off racist vibes indeed. The crazy thing is that the pizza was wonderful. I still will not go back to this uninviting MOD pizza.
