I have always been satisfied with Grace Jeweler's products and prices but disappointed with their lack of customer service. Especially being a repeat customer, since the day they opened, who has spent a decent amount of money with them. After today, though, I will find another jeweler. I went in to get a battery for a watch that used to be my father's (it actually required 2). While I waited, I watched one customer, who also got a battery, get his bill discounted $3 and a second customer who was dropping jewelry off for repair, told he would get 20% off. Neither asked, the discount was just offered. My bill was $38 and I was offered no discount. Whatever. That was irritating but what made my decision to never go back is the fact that they put batteries in a watch I can't wear and they had to have noticed. As I was walking to my car, I excitedly began to strap my father's watch on and noticed that the whole "buckle" piece of the watch band was gone. I don't think Grace Jewelers lost it but they HAD to have noticed it was missing. I cannot believe they would not mention that to a customer "Ma'am, do you realize you are replacing 2 batteries in a watch that you can't wear?". I am so angry!! The piece had fallen off in my purse and I didn't notice because I handed it directly to the owner . I will never go back there!! I understand it is not their responsibilty to inform me but it would have been the right...

This man is NOT a person who I thought he was Iām a believable person, but he took advantage of a person who just lost her husband and looked at his diamond cross ring which I had him adjust. This is the deal. This man would not let me return merchandise and called me and my daughter out and there was no way that Iām gonna let him talk to my daughter huge disrespect this is a deal again. I donāt have a car. I cannot get there. I called I called and and said to his person who was there representative. This man would not would not give me the price that I paid and I demanded my money back for a ring that he downsize and I couldnāt get there to pick it up. Weāre talking to eight days. What is this kind of person to first of all tell me that it was over eight days and then Iām gonna say again to disrespect me as a human being who believes in treating people fairly thatās what this all is thatās what this world is all about this man needs to learn how to treat people with kindness. I will spread the word indeed I will⦠right now, Iāll pray for him. Maybe heāll learn how to treat people fairly. I donāt think thatāll happen, but Iāll do that right now. Praise...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI try to support small businesses in my community, but my experience with Grace Jewelers was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable.
I brought in my wedding band to repair a diamond that had fallen out. The owner, Sovanna, personally confirmed the estimate and repair time. I paid nearly $500 for the repair, and picked it up a week later as promised.
Just five days later, the exact same diamond fell out again. When I returned, instead of listening to me or reviewing the repair, Sovanna immediately accused me of bringing in a different issue. He dismissed the diagram he had drawn himself on the repair envelope, told me āyou are unbelievable,ā and flat-out accused me of lying. I even showed him photos I had submitted to my insurance company to prove it was the same diamond, but he continued to argue with me. Only after re-examining the ring did he finally admit he was wrong and say he owed me an apology.
There are two serious problems here:
The workmanship failed in less than a week.
The owner treated me with hostility and disrespect, rather than professionalism, even when the mistake was his.
A repair should last longer than five days, and no customer should be accused of dishonesty when simply asking for the work to be corrected. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend taking your jewelry (and your...
