In-N-Out Burger is hands down my favorite fast food spot, and I don’t say that lightly. Every time I go, I know I’m in for a treat. There’s something about their burgers that just hits differently—fresh, simple, and packed with flavor.
Let me start with the basics: the food is consistently awesome. The burgers are made with fresh, never frozen, beef, and you can really taste the difference. The patties are juicy, seasoned just right, and cooked to perfection. I’m a sucker for the Double-Double—it’s the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and that special sauce that brings it all together. The veggies are always fresh too, with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and onions that add a nice crunch. The buns are soft but hold everything together nicely without falling apart, which is a big plus in my book.
If you’re in the know, you’ve probably heard about the secret menu. This is where things get really fun. I usually go for my burger “Animal Style,” which means extra sauce, pickles, grilled onions, and mustard cooked into the patty. It’s messy, but so worth it. And the fries? I get those Animal Style too, smothered in cheese, grilled onions, and that delicious spread. It’s pure indulgence, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself.
What I love about In-N-Out is how they keep things simple. The menu isn’t overwhelming—just burgers, fries, shakes, and sodas. They focus on doing a few things really well, and it shows. You’re not bombarded with a million different options; instead, you get quality food that’s made fresh and tastes amazing every time.
Another thing that stands out to me is the service. I’ve been to a bunch of different locations, and no matter where I go, the staff is always friendly and efficient. You can tell they actually care about getting your order right and making sure you have a good experience. It’s not something you always find at fast food places, but In-N-Out has nailed it.
The vibe inside is cool too. It’s got that classic, retro feel with the red and white decor and the palm trees on the cups. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean, comfortable, and kind of nostalgic. I always feel welcome there, whether I’m grabbing a quick bite on the go or sitting down with friends.
And let’s talk about value. For the quality of food you’re getting, the prices are super reasonable. You get a good-sized meal that fills you up without emptying your wallet, which is another reason I keep coming back.
In-N-Out is also one of those brands that sticks to what they do best. They haven’t changed much over the years, and I respect that. They’re still family-owned and they haven’t cut corners or tried to be something they’re not. They just keep delivering great food, and it’s clear that they care about maintaining the quality that made them famous in the first place.
All in all, In-N-Out Burger is my go-to spot when I want something tasty, reliable, and satisfying. Whether you’re a longtime fan or trying it for the first time, you really can’t go wrong. It’s just good, honest food that always leaves me happy and looking forward to...

Read moreThe service was very fast in the drive thru but they took our order before we got to the big menu. The woman was very nice and had a flip sign on her tablet that was good but I couldn't see it very well. My daughter and I knew what we wanted but if I wanted to add to my order they missed the chance to upsell my order because I felt rushed and I couldn't see the menu well enough.
I know that there is always a long line. I have been going to In n Out for over 40 years but each customer is important and getting customers through the line fast isn't always the best way to make money. Upselling is just as important. Maybe have your people suggest something like if they get a soda then suggest, "Would you like a shake for dessert?"
However, the reason that they got the low score was that my food was not up to the necessary quality standard that this company has kept for 40 years and more. My fries were old, cold, and had NO flavor and my single was so cold. Even though I went through the drive thru I was eating my burger within 2 minutes. It should have been at least warm. Plus the size of the patty looked like a kids hamburger! McDonald's regular hamburger patties are bigger! I asked for double grilled onions and I got mush instead. The biggest flavor that I tasted was the bun and those are not flavorful at all.
I don't like leaving bad reviews because I know that more people will write a bad review because they are ticked off than will write a good review because they enjoyed the service. So this was a case of I just needed to let management that they need to step up and fix things. I hope that you have a secret shopper system because if you don't you sure need it.
Like I said previously I have been eating at In n Out for over 40 years. My oldest child is 46 and when she was a toddler we used to drive from Inglewood CA to Las Vegas NV at least 4x a year and we always stopped at the store right off Interstate 15 coming and going. The semi trucks would be parked in the empty lot next store with very little space between them. Parking for cars by the store was also on packed dirt and you had to be very careful driving and walking to make sure no kids were hit. There was always a crowd at the window because this was long before drive thru's were everywhere. So I won't give up on In n Out yet but I will be watching closely to see if the quality goes back to what it should be. If not then they have lost me as a customer. Good luck In n...
