We will never go back to this hotel. We made the reservation last minute during the busy weekend of Mothers Day so our mistake. We were 6 of us and we booked a room that accommodates 6 people. The room was on facing a busy highway and every time we open our room windows,it was extremely noisy. The kitchen in the room had only 5 of each items-spoons,forks,plates, bowl, only coffee mugs and no glasses. Why list this room to accommodate 6 people is totally misleading. There was one tiny bathroom so it was a challenge for 6 people to use the bathroom;the pull up sofa was the tiniest twin size I have ever seen and the sheets were so dirty-again why is this room listed that it can fit 6 people-no idea. The common area of the room had 1 queen size bed and the pull up sofa but no freaking closet or chest- we literally had to keep our clothes in the suitcases. Super inconvenient. There was no dining table-again why the hell, does this hotel offer kitchen with no dining table, it blows my mind. There were 3 barstools that were half the height of the kitchen bar so in order to use it, we had to stand up or if u r lucky enough to be 7 ft tall, u can enjoy them. My husband is 6 ft 5 in and when he sat at the bar stool, his chin was hardly reaching the edge of the kitchen bar. The master bedroom was way too spacious and it was wasted room space-they could have easily put in a closed in the other room. When we checked in, it was late and we didn't pay attention to the sign they have put on the registration that room housekeeping is offered ONLY upon request the day off. The lady that checked us in didn't even bother to tell us that. It was very weird though because when we did the online booking, it specifically asks u if u want housekeeping and we chose that option. When I came down on day 2 to ask for clean towels, the front desk lady gave me attitude for asking for so many towels. I guess if I am paying for a room that sleeps 6 people, it is very strange for the staff to provide u with exactly 6 towels. I will never return to this hotel and I will never recommend it to anyone. The parking spots were also not enough-we had to park across the street because there was never available parking spots when we came back to the hotel at night. They have 20 spots outside and 10 spot in their u derground parking. In the underground parking lot, 4 spots were blocked with either cones, or maintenence materials such as rolls of carpet. The fitness room was extremely outdated and there is a TV installed on the wall that has no internet and no...
Read moreMy experience at this hotel was disappointing. I originally booked a Double Queen Suite, but when I arrived to check in, I was placed in a handicap-accessible room instead. I went downstairs to let the front desk know there had been a mistake. Kathy, the front desk staff member, informed me that my reserved room type was unavailable. Then, surprisingly, she offered to “upgrade” me to the room I had already booked—for an additional $10.||I showed her my confirmation email, which clearly listed a Double Queen Suite, and asked why I was being charged extra for the room I had reserved. Her response was abrupt, she told me I could leave and stay elsewhere if I didn’t like it. When I questioned her tone, she became defensive and said, “I don’t like to be questioned. I’ve been in the hotel business for 30 years and I’m not going to argue with you.”||I then asked her to contact the booking agency to cancel my reservation, since she had just asked me to leave. She refused, saying I would have to handle that myself.||After assisting another guest, she told me to hold on and went upstairs. When she returned, she offered a resolution: a King Suite, which I accepted. However, when I got to the room, it was another handicap-accessible unit. At that point, it felt deliberate. I called her to let her know that, just for her awareness, the room was not what she claimed it to be.||The room itself was fine, but the overall experience was frustrating. If the room I booked truly wasn’t available, I would’ve appreciated a complimentary upgrade, not being told to pay extra or leave. Instead, it felt like I was being manipulated into paying more for a reservation I had already secured.||I’ve stayed at other Choice Hotels with no issues, but I wouldn’t recommend this particular location. The staff came off as rude and unprofessional. Even the next morning, a different front desk staff member didn’t acknowledge me with a simple “good morning,” which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. Based on past reviews, it seems like this kind of behavior is unfortunately common here, so I didn’t bother escalating it to...
