Budget Inn — Hotel in Gloucester City

AVOID THIS MOTEL. It has two floors and no elevator. Very much excessively overpriced per one night ($89)for off peak season....(and $49 an hour! RIDICULOUS!) Dated carpets and curtains GIVE OFF STRONG FORMALDEHYDE VAPOR THAT GAVE ME A TERRIBLE HEADACHE and beside that the vending machine charged me $5 on my card for one Tylenol that it refused to dispense to me. The management comprised of a husband and wife team we're nearly illiterate in English and not only didn't know anything about the broken machine but they didn't care ... And thought it was something funny. During the three nights I was there there was that DISGUSTING strong dead skunk "weed" odor coming from some of the other rooms as I walk down the hallway and was periodically visited by the police department late at night in repetitive disturbance to my peace. The location is the best part. It's right in the Brooklawn Circle. There are 5 buses running just about 10 minutes away. There are TONS of fast-food restaurants, and restaurants and bars. There's a liquor store like 15 minutes away. There are tons of convienent stores like 5 minutes away. The Shop Rite and Dollar Tree are right around the corner. The rooms are OK, cozy, quiet. I like the shower, bathroom was reasonably clean. I haven't experienced the service much yet, but they did get us a fridge and microwave for no extra charge. Yes really not worth the money the this about as low budget as a room can be with a 32 inch TV, no frigerator and no microwave. The bathroom is about the size of the bathroom on the spirit airline very small. The bed is a full size. The cable is less then basic for all the rooms they have here I see why this place has a low rating.... It's on rt.70 and if you ever heard of the saying highway robbery this place is definitely it a 100.00 a night. The rainbow motel is better and or down the rode to the rodeway inn cheaper and has refrig and microwave...
