Food is only good when the father is in the kitchen cooking , If he is not in there, do not order from this place ! All the other workers in there do not know how to cook , I’m telling y’all ! Trust me ! I’ve been calculating this from this exact Chinese spot for the longest ! I really love Chinese food and at first this Chinese food from this spot was very good especially the rice was nice and moist That chicken wings was nice and seasoned, and I had a very good flavor to the wings !
And I noticed on certain other days That chicken wings be so plain and bland , The rice does not be moist. It be so plain and bland. Same thing with all the other food sweet-and-sour shrimp super bland ! Eggrolls overcooked , Especially the cheesesteak eggrolls, the meat be so hard on the inside To where you can’t eat it at all they taste like a brick , No kidding !!!
And this only happens when the father is not in the kitchen cooking ! They know who I’m talking about ! The young girls in there at the register , I believe it’s their father ! That’s the dude and the only dude that should be in the kitchen cooking the food ! Fire and get rid of all the other workers They do not know how to cook Chinese food, Like I said, only the father I guess that owns this place is the only good cook ! So if y’all go there, go inside first and see if a small Chinese dude That is a little bald and is very small , He always wears a smock when he’s back in the kitchen , If that guy is in there order the food, but if he is not in there, cooking do not order from this place !
SMH , Another night, where I wasted my money ! Now I’m going to check every day if there owner/father is in the kitchen cooking ! This is a shame ! There are a TON of Chinese places around where I live, but these guys have far and away been my favorite for a couple years now, despite the extra distance needed to travel there. When I order, I tend to make large purchases of several meals, which I can then eat over the course of the next few days. An order of soup and three meals, and I'm usually looking at around the mid to high twenty dollar range.
The best part, however, is that when you place an order of twenty bucks or more, they toss in something for free. An extra soup, a quart of fried rice... There's always a nice little bonus. Also, the food reheats in the microwave fantastically, meaning that leftovers aren't only easy but also quick. Anything I've ever gotten from then is heated and ready to eat after six minutes in the ol' microwave. Convenient!
The food itself is exactly what you would expect, pretty standard fare. However, it's always well seasoned and very flavorful. The spicy is spicy, and the not is.... well, not. Don't expect gourmet cuisine, but simple staples done the right way, and you won't be disappointed.
The staff has always been helpful, and more than happy to deal with substitutions, although if you are talking to the older workers, be prepared for a slight language barrier to deal with. In the end, I've been going here every other weekend for several years, and have only had one bad experience the entire time (which was my own fault, for not being clear in my explanation of what I wanted.)
If you like good Chinese food at a reasonable price from nice folks, you could do far, far worse than giving...

Ordered food @ 5, told 45 mins. Called at 550, they said I'm the next 1 out. Called at 620, they said they're going to make mine next and I'm the next out.....called back @ 6:50 to cancel order. She explained shed give me discounts for the over 2hr wait ....none provided!!!!! PAID FULL PRICE & THEY STILL MISSED ITEMS ON MY ORDER AFTER WAITING OVER 2HRS!!!!! BEWARE!!!!! STAY AWAYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Update : driver came back with missed items an money back from discounts applied to the order for the inconvenience ....don't know if I'll be ordering from here again
Review update: after being told I would be a priority by the manager, most of my orders have been delivered hot an fresh, with no mistakes right around 20mins or so. If they can keep it up they would surely win me back as a loyal customer
