I had the good luck recently of staying at Greenville's Staybridge Suites in North Carolina, and I must say this was one of the best hotel experiences that I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with hospitality, kindness, and genuine Southern charm.|Francessca Lindsay, the General Manager, sets an example. Her leadership is apparent in every corner of the hotel — from its pristine state to the friendly and helpful staff. She went out of her way to greet guests herself, and that sort of attention is unheard of and much appreciated.|A huge thanks to Amanda in Sales, who did everything she could to make room for our group's needs. She was prompt, efficient, and super helpful in ensuring that all was well during our visit. From coordinating rooms to assisting with special requests, Amanda dealt with it all with grace and professionalism.|And then there was Daniel, the Front Desk Manager — the heartbeat of the hotel. He streamlined check-in, greeted guests by name, and smiled continuously. Whether recommending sites to visit around the city or responding to customer requests at the last minute, Daniel treated us like VIPS every time we crossed the lobby.|The rooms were massive, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable extended stay. I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out regarding my recent stay at The Staybridge Suites which, unfortunately, was not up to the standard I’ve come to expect especially as a Diamond Elite member.
Several issues made my stay less than pleasant. My television did not work for two nights straight, despite multiple requests for it to be fixed. Additionally, I specifically requested for my room to be serviced after 2 PM, yet no one came. It wasn’t until after 4:30 PM that I had to personally go downstairs to inform the front desk, as no one had attended to my room. To add to the disappointment, I noticed a stain on my pillow, which I also reported, and the overall response was simply an apology with no real resolution.
On top of that, we were unable to use the elevator due to someone being stuck in it, further adding to the inconvenience. While I understand that unforeseen issues can arise, the lack of follow-through on multiple service requests made the experience frustrating.
I have stayed in numerous hotels, and unfortunately, this was one of my least enjoyable experiences. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention, as I’m not sure if I will be returning with my family in the future. I would appreciate any feedback on how these issues will be addressed to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—a true haven for my older family members who needed a good night’s sleep and space to decompress. The beds were cozy, the layout was generous, and every detail—from cleanliness to amenities—was thoughtfully maintained. It felt less like a hotel and more like a safe harbor.
We used our room as a base of operations during an emotional time, and it provided everything we needed without ever asking for it. The kindness and professionalism of the staff did not go unnoticed. In times like this, small gestures of hospitality mean more than anyone realizes.
