Waffle House — Restaurant in Greenville

I can't believe I'm giving a waffle house a 5 star but they earned it! We were down there for a motorcycle event and our first stop in was late at night. The over night guy was great and even though we had to take it to go, the food was delicious. I went again by myself a few days later and was greater right away by a very friendly waitress. I ordered their main breakfast platter with sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and a waffle. The food came out super fast and even though everything was good, the eggs were amazing! Some of the best I have ever had and if you follow me you know I love my breakfast spots and this means a lot. The chef was a super cool guy that came out and chit chatted with me for a bit. Made me feel like I came to a friend's restaurant. I didn't catch his name but he had a beard, several tattoos and was an older gentleman. He will remember our group from New Jersey and PA. When came back in with our whole group our poor waitress wasn't ready for so many people, but she got it done. Terrible, sloppy, unprofessional, inadequate, no quality, no customer service! I come to this location a lot because it is very close to my job. Today was my last time coming. I called 7-10 times to call in my order. No answer. I get there, stand in a line with no other customers yet the waitress calls other people who dined in and got in line to pay behind me, ahead of me. My order was never taken. And I left. The only person who acknowledge me was the manager - he always speaks to me whenever I come and he's there. The waitress staff is terrible here. These girls do not greet, they have ignored me several times as I stand their and other people are called ahead of me. never again will this crew have the opportunity to treat me like I'm invisible. I should of checked the reviews on this place before I waisted my money after so many bad experience I'm tired of it.. Today 3/20/16 12:00 p.m I walked in with my kids an we waited for about 20 minutes I swear there were like 8 employees n they weren't even busy only had like 3 tables the lady that was going to wait on us was on the phone so I asked of anybody was going to help us cus I have kids that are hungry?
