I put in an order for a baby shower cake for it to be ready for pick-up on Friday May 27, 2016. I received a call the day before it was supposed to be made and was told that I needed to re-send all of the information that I had previously provided, because they had lost it. I re-sent the information without thinking twice and with no fuss. On Friday, I went to the bakery to pick-up the cake and it was horrible. Hardly any of the instructions were followed. I told them I was not satisfied and wanted a full refund. After extensive conversation, she finally agreed to refund the money, but due to the holiday weekend, I would have to wait until Tuesday, May 31st. When Tuesday came, I went to the bakery and she refused to refund me and called the police stating that I had also threatened her daughters and caused a scene. So now I am out $160 for a cake I never took off of...
Read moreI'm a doordash driver and had an order to pick up from this restaurant. I cannot head to the restaurant until I receive the order. I called ahead of time to let the person know my gps put me getting there at 5:05 since they close at 5pm (which is weird for a restaurant to close in the middle of the day) and she was extremely rude, huffing and puffing and would not give me a straight answer if she would be there 5 minutes past closing. said that the owner wanted them out at 5 on the dot. I'm pretty sure the owner wanted the money you just lost them instead of you refusing to stay 5 minutes late. Very rude and unprofessional and completely unnecessary to not give me a straight answer and make me drive here anyway to find you left at 5:04. The owner needs better employees that does not cost them money and business and knows basic manners. Would give zero stars...
Read moreI don't like to write bad reviews and usually don't, unless it can maybe be of help to the establishment or to a customer. I hope this is both. I was in recently to purchase a loaf of gluten-free bread. They only make it on Fridays and then they freeze them for later purchase. It was pretty bad, bordering on inedible (heavy, under-baked, gritty), and I had to throw it away after just one slice (10 bucks in the trash). It would be helpful to have free samples of it, to see what it is like, since it's a specialty item and more expensive. I would like to encourage the owners to research newer recipes for gluten free flour blends that have a better texture, because they are out there and being used other places. I figured being a bread place, it would be better than grocery store GF bread, but that was not the...
