Tucked into a quiet valley that feels worlds away from the everyday, these canvas tents strike a perfect balance between rustic charm and understated luxury. Think crackling fires, soft blankets, and the kind of silence that makes you breathe a little deeper. Each tent invites you to slow down—whether you’re sipping wine from one of the many nearby vineyards or simply watching the sun dip behind the hills. The on-site amenities elevate the experience beyond your average glamping setup. A beautifully maintained swimming pool offers a refreshing midday dip, while the hot tub becomes a sanctuary at dusk—best enjoyed under a blanket of stars with a glass of local red in hand. It’s the sort of place that quietly rewires your sense of time. You arrive thinking you’ll stay for a night, and by morning, you’re wondering how to stay forever.

This gem is right off the highway you can't miss it! Glamping at its finest! We loved our stay. Beautiful grounds with nice clean large tents. Equipped with lighting, fans, electric blankets and a refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable as was the futon. Night-time sitting around the campfire on large tree rounds or tables and chairs cooking hotdogs and smores over the fire. Daytime at the cabanas set up with couches and a table for food and drinks while we chilled at the fabulous pool. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is also a hot tub to relax and a gym to get a little workout done . My family had a very relaxing awesome visit and can't wait to come visit again.

Overall, this place is not great. Here are the pros and cons....||Pro:|- The queen bed I had in my tent was super comfortable. I like a firm bed. If you are person who does not like a really firm mattress, then you will likely not sleep well.|- They provide mini fridges and fans in each tent.|- The pool area is very nice - although they do not have a working outdoor shower to use before and after the pool.|- The gym is old and small but it's still nice to have a workout facility on the grounds.||Con:|- Don't be fooled by the pictures on trip advisor or their website. It looks nothing like that. |- It's glamping so you expect some level of "roughing" it but I was there for 6 nights and the bathrooms and showers were filthy when I arrived and even worse by the time I left. It's not unreasonable to expect the facilities to be cleaned at least once a day. I can not overstate this enough, the showers and toilets are NASTY. |- There is zero security at this resort. Anyone can go and come in off the street and walk around the property. I never felt unsafe but ensure you protect any valuables you have with you.|- The grounds are not well kept. Again, it looks nothing like the pictures.|- The tents are not super clean either. Based on how the rest of the property is maintained I question just how clean the bedsheets, bedspreads, towels, etc. really are. |- Quiet hours are not maintained...

DO NOT STAY. We booked a dome tent for a wedding and I received a call a few weeks before saying that a different party had booked all the other sites for a “family reunion” so they would move us to a different type of tent. Upon arrival, we found out it was a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. They moved us to the other side of the campground, which we accepted as we falsely assumed that the 10PM quiet hours would still be in place. IT WAS AWFUL. It was constant partying and blasting music until finally at midnight, we called the property manager to tell them what was going on. IT WAS SO BAD that neighbors not staying at Surrey Resort came and YELLED at the party, saying how disrespectful they were and threatened to call the police. It was so bad we ended up leaving in the middle of the night. I spoke to customer service afterwards and was told I would be getting a full refund. I then got another call and they rescinded their offer and offered a free night stay instead. I am still awaiting a call from the owner, which I have called 3 times. Awful enforcement of campground rule, but even worse customer service. DO...
