Charles P. Rogers — Hotel in Hackensack

Horrible experience with Charles P Rogers. Cannot recommend. Recently purchased a bed and the color was misrepresented to us. We had to pay a restock fee of $120 just to not have the wrong color, even though the item was in transit and was not delivered and the correct item was in their warehouse here in NYC. The one we ordered was supposed to be dark brown but it was actually ink black when we saw it in person. The store does not have all of the mattress models available in the showroom so you have to try blind. And good luck if you find it uncomfortable, there is a 20% restock fee to return under their warranty. The cherry on the cake of our experience was we purchased a sheet set and when we got home - the box had two flat sheets instead of the set: 2 pillow cases, 1 flat, 1 fitted. The store was unable to replace it. We had to call customer service and get the replacement sent to the store. They would not send it directly (UPS) unless we used their delivery service and four hour window. Oh and their "white glove" delivery is $200 extra which only includes set up of the new bed and mattress but they will not take the old mattress for disposal - thats your problem. So we did get the frame switched out but that cost an extra $120 and it was a big pain. We will not purchase from Charles P. Rogers anymore and cannot recommend....

I learned about Carles P. Roger's mattresses through Consumer Reports. They were rated the number one innerspring mattress, for quality, stability, comfort and durability They offer a 15 year warranty on the fabric and 25 years on the springs and structure. They don't sell through large mattress retailers. They have several showrooms in NYC, or you can order online. My wife and I went to one of their factories/showroom in East Rutherford, NJ to look and test their mattresses. We were not pressured to buy anything. We were given a tour of the factory and took our time trying the various mattresses and were very impressed with how well made the mattresses and box spring were built. It was almost like custom ordering your own mattress. It took about two weeks to have it delivered. We were called one day before delivery and were given a four hour delivery window. The day of the delivery, we were called a half hour before the truck showed up. Delivery and setup was free. They even removed the old mattress and set it out by the curb. They can even finance your purchase. They provide a 100 day trial/satisfaction period, with a full refund if not satisfied. Overall a very positive experience. Would highly...

We just purchased a Lifetime 8 Charles P Rogers Mattress❣️. After only one night of sleeping on it - We declare it to be the most heavenly mattress we have ever owned!!! The workmanship is Superb! The Waterproof cover we purchased will be worth its weight in gold for protection of our new mattress! Our Sales Agent, Erik Lamb was knowledgeable, accommodating and promptly available for all questions! The “white glove” delivery was truly amazing! Kelvin and Tony were friendly, professional, efficient, respectful of our house / and removed our old mattress and box springs and installed our new CPR mattress on our platform bed 🛌 - in record time! Also, communications with the Company are friendly and seamless (like when I texted a change in contact phone number the morning of the delivery 🚚) We would highly recommend Charles P Roger’s for anyone who needs a new mattress - without any reservation!
