What a hidden gem away from all the more pricey and established chain hotels! If you're looking for a simple, cozy, breezy beachside stay and don't want to pay a huge premium, this is a fantastic option. Stayed here for one evening as part of a multi-day getaway and couldn't be happier with the personal, friendly service provided. Reg at the front desk was particularly charming and left myself and my companion feeling well cared for!

We originally booked a 1 King bed Garden View room through Expedia, but ended up being upgraded to the Naples Beach room thanks to Reg's kindness which at least gave us a bit more space and a partial ocean view. Reg was also great for helping us get settled with the inn's amenities and services including the wine and snacks cocktail hour, and the complimentary breakfast order in the morning.

The room itself was very clean and provided a nice accompaniment to the ocean view and scenery, with accents of blue all over but without being overwhelming, and came with basic-but-helpful perks such as a Keurig coffee machine, programmable fireplace, a walk-in shower, and robes for usage during our night. The room is spacious enough for two, and also even has a small balcony with seats (though not big enough for walking around on).

I would wholeheartedly recommend this stay for anyone looking to get away from the premium price, but is looking for a premium experience and service. Cypress Inn is truly the place to go for an affordable coastal getaway in...

Our stay at Cypress in specifically in Room 15 (Pigeon Point), was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional customer service that made us feel truly special. This small, 18-room hotel offers a level of intimacy and care that’s hard to find. We loved the nightly happy hour, complete with a variety of fine cheeses and wine, and every evening at exactly 7:20 PM, warm chocolate chip cookies were placed in the lobby making it feel like warm and cozy.

Each morning, breakfast was delivered to our room, featuring chef specials that were simply delicious. One day we enjoyed pancakes, and the next we were spoiled with a crab Benedict loaded with bacon, paired with a carafe of hot coffee.

Room 15, Pigeon Point, was perfect for a peaceful, oceanfront retreat. We spent hours on our cozy balcony watching the waves, bikers, fishermen, and dogs playing on the nearby paths. The location was also ideal, with a great restaurant just a short walk away.

The room itself was clean, quiet, and beautifully appointed. The gas fireplace was heavenly, and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was incredibly relaxing. We could even sit on the couch and enjoy direct views of the ocean—a rare treat!

Cypress exceeded all of our expectations, delivering first-class treatment throughout our stay. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene, oceanfront getaway. Room 15, Pigeon Point, was truly a gem! Our experience was well worth...

We enjoyed a seaside view room (one of the more expensive rooms) with a wonderful tub, cozy fireplace, and comfortable bed. The quiet ocean view and the pleasant ambience of crashing waves cannot be emphasized enough (it’s the real deal on this front)! We kept our porch door open the entire time to enjoy the crashing waves.

This is a small place with local staff that are genuine and care. A modest inn in a rural town. Everyone’s mostly a friendly neighbor and I suspect anyone complaining in reviews were probably unnecessarily rude and demanding (reconsider your approach if you’re having a bad experience in a small town).

The nice touches are present and our room is modernized.

It is noteworthy for the big and tall that the stand up shower is tall enough to accommodate 6’5” reasonably but it is a VERY small box size (about 34” x 34”). I understand why this happened during the remodel (the door can only be mounted 1” in off the tile or it’ll crack the tile/ruin the shower), but it was an oversight and a rough one considering how much was clearly spent on upgrades. Next time you go through renovations, force an extra 12” on the mirror side and leave it at 34” on the toilet side. That’ll split the difference on the tight squeeze and still make it feel decent!

We’ll be...
