If I could give this restaurant ZERO STARS, I would. I got food poisoning from eating there about a month ago, and was trying to give them the chance to make things right, considering our service was also terrible! But the General Manager told me she would give me a gift certificate to return to the restaurant for the amount we spent, to which I told her due to our awful experience and my receiving food poisoning we would not be returning. So now comes the review...

My friend and I were treated as unimportant, and disregarded during our service at the Miramar. My friend ordered a martini, which contained a black piece of who knows what. The waiter tried to convince her it was ice, but luckily she insisted and he got a new one made. The calamari we ordered was so chewy, it started to make my stomach feel queasy. The other food was good, seemed flavorful but largely overpriced. I ordered the oysters, half a dozen for $18, and received a plate of the tiniest oysters I have even seen. I am also pretty sure that's what made me sick at 5am the next morning :( The waiter didn't even look at us when he took the book with our tab and money, just snatched it quickly off the table without opening it to see if there was a split cash and card (which there was), which I tried to explain to him as he walked away. I guess he was too busy, considering he was chatting away with the family behind us for the majority of our service, and we must have been disturbing his conversation.

I find it insulting that after telling the General Manager not only was our service terrible but I contracted food sickness, she offers to bring us back to the restaurant. I wouldn't touch this dirty, overpriced wreck of an establishment with a...

My dining experience at Miramar Beach Restaurant was beyond frustrating! We arrived hungry and waited what felt like an eternity to be seated. Despite requesting a waterfront table, we were placed far from the water, under the scorching sun with no umbrella. When we asked the waiter to move us to the empty shaded table next to ours, they couldn't be bothered to respond. The entire staff seemed stressed out, but that's no excuse for terrible service.

We tried to reason with the person in charge of table assignments, but they flat-out refused, citing some inflexible system. As we returned to our table, our food were served, and my wife was seething from both the heat and hunger. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands and moved our food to the shaded table.

But, oh boy, that's when the trouble started! A lady kinda stormed over, rudely informing us that we couldn't move tables without approval and kept emphasizing their precious "system." It felt like they had it out for us, perhaps because we looked younger. Yet, in the far corner, two older women were graciously escorted to a different table, even though it wasn't their original assignment. How unfair can you get?

We left Miramar Beach Restaurant feeling disrespected, discriminated against, and absolutely livid with the entire staff. This experience was an...

The food is delicious and I loved being able to look down on the beach from where I sat. Our waitress was lovely and overall my husband and I had a nice time. This restaurant has been around for a long time and getting a reservation is recommended. The only bit of awkwardness we experienced was when we came early to the restaurant and asked if there was a possibility of being seated early. (There were plenty non reserved open two seater tables both inside and out.) The hostess answered curtly 'we will have a table available for you at the time of your reservation' the kind of rude way one does when they have guaranteed business regardless. She said this without asking our name or when our reservation was. I suspect she never learned what it means to be good at customer service. It would have been just as easy for her to say ' im sorry we dont have any tables available for an earlier time or something similar. Despite that everyone else we encountered was quite polite and we would come back. This is a restaurant you come to for well made food with quality ingredients. However, if you are looking for updated decor or stylized food presentation maybe leave this spot...

Miramar Beach Restaurant delivers a memorable coastal dining experience with its unbeatable oceanfront location and relaxed outdoor seating. The atmosphere is casual yet charming, with views of the Pacific that elevate even a simple lunch into something special. Service is attentive and friendly, with staff who are happy to offer recommendations and accommodate shared plates. For starters, the Cajun pot is a standout—spicy, aromatic, and perfect for sharing. It sets the tone for a flavorful meal. On the lunch menu, the grilled chicken sandwich is a popular choice, featuring a juicy, well-seasoned chicken breast on a soft bun with crisp lettuce. It’s often served with golden onion rings and a tangy barbecue sauce, as shown in the attached image. The portion sizes are generous, making it easy to split dishes among friends or family. Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch or a scenic dinner, Miramar Beach Restaurant offers a satisfying mix of comfort food, coastal ambiance, and warm service. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy the view.

This is a "must go to" restaurant! Literally steps from the ocean. Great view, friendly staff, delicious food, and amazing adult beverages. The bar area sits in the middle of the dining room. Smart, because it allows for more people getting an ocean view. The bar is totally like a sports bar on any game day. Everyone talking and cheering. The heated outside patio is lovely. Enclosed with approximately 10 foot clear panels, it stays warm on breezy days with gas fire pit tables with lounging sofas. Or, dining tables with gas space heaters. All this while enjoying the ocean view. But, a bonus, the patio is dog friendly. Pets are great conversation starters. This restaurant always has a great vibe. But, remember, you receive what you put out. So go there ready to say "Hi" to strangers. Be ready to smile at random dogs. Be ready to ask the staff how they feel and thank them for being kind. I have noticed the more I engage with the servers, hostess and bartenders, the more personable my visit becomes.
