Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton — Hotel in Hamilton Township

I travel often and have stayed at many different Marriott locations and the Courtyard Hamilton Marriott is by far the nicest location! It was my first time staying at this location. I used my Marriott Bonvoy rewards points for a free room on my husband's birthday. Our stay was 100% free. There were lots of guests staying at the hotel for a nearby wedding and I thought it might get loud in the evening, but that wasn't an issue.

We stayed in a room with a king-size bed. There was a pullout sofa with bedding available in the closet, but we did not use it. The mini fridge was ice cold. I was surprised to find a microwave in the room, along with the standard coffee maker. The tv was on a swivel mount which made it easy to watch television from either the bed or the couch area. The bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. The front desk provided my husband with shaving cream free of charge upon request.

The lobby area was nice. There was ice cold water with cucumber & lemon slices available for guests. Many guests made use of the bar in the evening. We did not get a chance to try the food or beverages. My only criticism is the staff at the front desk could improve upon their customer service. The one woman was very friendly, but the young man who checked us in was lacking in customer service. Also, the key carrs he provided were not properly magnetized and we had to go back downstairs to get new cards made to enter our room upon check-in. But even that did not affect our stay. Just an area that could be improved on.

I will definitely be staying at Courtyard Hamilton again in the near future!

I had such a great stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. From start to finish, everything felt well thought out and welcoming. The food was excellent, with a variety of choices that went well beyond standard hotel fare. Whether it was breakfast or a quick bite later in the day, everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with care.

The courtyard itself is a highlight. It’s beautifully designed and maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax with a coffee in the morning or wind down in the evening. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with plenty of space to sit back and enjoy the surroundings.

The fitness center was another standout. The gym smelled brand new, and all of the equipment was in great condition. It made staying on top of workouts while traveling a breeze, and it was clear that the facility is kept up with care.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had a view I’ll never forget. Looking out the window, we had a direct view of the American flag waving proudly outside—it gave the whole stay a unique and memorable touch. The cleaning staff was friendly and thorough, making sure everything felt fresh each day, and that level of service really stood out.

Overall, this Courtyard by Marriott exceeded my expectations. While this brand new hotel is clean & nice looking, what you don't find out until you get there is that it backs up to a FedEx depot. FedEx trucks are contantly going in and out, night & day. While the noise is hard to notice inside, it makes access to the property a pain. In the morning getting gas nearby was next to impossible as the FedEx trucks were taking up all the pumps at the nearby WAWA. We requested extra towels as there were only enough for 3 people in the room, when it was a reservation for 4 people in a room with two beds. We requested an extra blanket (you know how it is when one person in the bed is a blanket puller) & were told that the hotel was full & that no extra blankets were available! A brand new hotel with not a single extra blanket!!!???? When we returned from a wedding in NYC at around midnight we were lucky enough to find ONE available parking slot!! Had we come in two cars, what then? The lone available spot was at the far end of the lot & we had to go to the front door to get in, not the closest door to our car, because the one nearest to our spot didn't work with the key cards, so said a sign on the door. In the morning there was no hot water for showers, only luke warm! In a newish hotel!! A Marriot Hotel!!! Not some dinky place out in the middle of nowhere!
