First I would like to acknowledge this is not an overall case against Wawa but the service I received at this particular one was not welcoming at all.
Wawa has always been a go to place for me to grab my coffee and a breakfast sandwich and this time was no different. I always grab a secondary drink or water and ask for a straw for my drink. I paid for my food at self checkout and as I was walking out I asked this particular time for one as well at the food ordering station, I was told to ask the associate making the coffee. Unusual but ok… I would like to point out at other locations I was happily accommodated. However, after being sent to the attendant at the coffee station, she promptly said, “you have to go the register”.
Walking back to the register, passing the drink station, I saw straws and grabbed one. I proceeded to hear yelling behind me, “OH NO SIR, NO SIR, THOSE ARE PAID STRAWS!” One, what does that mean and two, to be yelled at for grabbing a straw was way out of line. Not to mention she came after me and grabbed the straw from my hand. What would prompt such an interaction I would never know when I wasn’t rude or out of line in any way.
I’m shocked, all I could say, “are you serious right now?” I asked if the straws at the register were any different than these “paid straws”? With that question, she just grabbed another straw and said, “JUST HERE SIR, TAKE THE STRAW, HAVE A GOOD DAY!”
This experience was unacceptable and unnecessary to say the least! So Wawa do better! I didn’t get the associates name but for reference if anyone from Wawa reads these comments, the date and time was 5/12/2025, around 8:00 AM.
Needless to say, I won’t be visiting this location again, customer service should not be this difficult...
Read moreI try not going to this Wawa anymore for gas. The gas attendant Erick really needs to just do his job. I always come in asking for Super high octane. Erick repeatedly suggests that I don’t get super that I get premium. The first time I met Erick I took his advises shortly after my car is not running well it’s sputtering and the check engine light comes on. I had to purge my vehicle of the premium gas and fill it back up with super. Already having learned my lesson to not put premium in my car and also after reviewing my vehicle owners manual, I again ask for super. Again, Erick persists and continues to recommend premium. I told him if my experience with the premium has and he instantly gets offended and says that story didn’t make any sense. At this point Erick is starting to frustrate me. Erick is a order taker therefore he is in no position to make suggestions or recommendations on what fuel a customer SHOULD get. Erick please just give what the customers ask for please. This is a warning the next time I will go find the manager and make sure you’re suggesting comes to a...
Read more09/29/2025 I think customer of Wawa for probably 22 years I eat breakfast lunch and sometimes dinner and every Wawa and for the first time I asked for a simple a little cup of a salad dressing and a young man and an older woman that was making sandwich and food. One of them wasn’t doing anything I asked and they make faces and they says why why you not get a package they was like making face in some miserable, but like I asked, I can pay for my food I was wasn’t asking for free. It’s just very disappointed. People has to be upset of something so simple. I always ask for a small cup of salad dressing because it taste better than the package that they give for free when you buy a salad! The guy ignored me for at least five minutes. He just told me give me a minute and he just ignored me and the lady was as well upset because I asked again when she wasn’t doing anything and just the wash service...
