I tried this salon for the first time today. It is a nice salon and everyone seemed friendly. Unfortunately, my technician, Tracey tried to upsell me the entire time and it got quite annoying. I came in for a gel pedicure and a regular manicure. Upon sitting in the pedicure chair she handed me a menu of spa pedicures ranging from $30-$55. I said the regular $30 pedicure will be fine. Then she asked me if i wanted my heels buffed. I said yes. She asked if I liked something on my legs and then gave me a choice of lavender or ginger. I chose ginger. She did a nice job. Once I sat down at her station for the manicure she kept telling me that she could do a clear gel on my nails. I told her that I do a lot of landscaping this time of year and I didnāt want to bother with keeping up gel right now. She continued to try and get me to let her do gel and started telling me the benefits. I told her that Iāve had gel forever and just took it off because again, I do landscaping at this time of year and like to be able to clean my nails well. I also told her in a month or so I will put the gel back on. She kept telling me why I should have gel and I reiterated that i only want a regular manicure today. At this time another woman yelled over to her and Tracey finally stopped trying to sell me on gel. Perhaps she was got my preference before Tracey did. When it was time to check out she said it was $105. I asked how much the manicure was and she told me it was $20. I couldnāt understand where the other $85 came from. When i looked confused she said, āthe pedicure was $55 and then $25 for the gel.ā I still donāt know where the other $5 is from but I didnāt say anything and just gave her a $100 and a $50 bill. She gave me change with two $20ās and a $5, obviously expecting me to hand her back one of the $20ās as a tip. Normally, I absolutely would however I asked her for change for one of the $20ās and gave her a $15 tip instead which I think is more than appropriate all things considered. I would visit this salon again because it is a nice place and the work is good but next time I will ask for one of the techs that have a lot of reviews. The constant upsell was bad customer service. I hope all of their techs do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give zero stars I could. I got my nails done on December 7th, i noticed the nail tech applied a large amount of acrylic product, the nails were pretty basic and extremely bulky. the nail tech was Lana and just be aware she will harass you for a 5star review multiple times. but i did not think anything of it until December 12th my left ring fingernail completely ripped off. not only did the fake acrylic nail rip off but my entire actual nail came off. it was incredibly painful and i had to leave my job early to take care of it and lost a full days worth of pay. I had to wait until December 15th to go back because of my work schedule: i went in to explain what happened and they were extremely rude to me and cut me off so i requested my money back. they told me they would refund me and take off the rest of my nails and when i came back later. (I have all of this recorded on video) I came back later and they switched up and refused to refund me. the owner came out and he kept grabbing my hands. i explained to him that my finger was injured because of the excessive amount of acrylic product piled on to my nails. he then responded by squeezing my injured finger so hard i started crying. he then walked away and a woman came over and said they would not refund me. i left crying my eyes out and in extreme physical pain after the guy squeezed my injured finger. I also recorded this as well. the lady attempted to blame the length of my nail but my nails were longer before these nails and it took months for any of them to break and even when one broke it never ripped my actual nail. I type emails for a living, so it is not normal for a nail to break after 4 days, let alone rip my actual nail off to the point where iām bleeding all over the place. i now have to wait months for my nail to grow back. do not come here unless you want basic, bulky nails that might rip your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a licensed nail tech and I would never think I would need to tell the pedicurist what nail bits for the efile to use. They were going to use a metal nail bit on my natural nail which is for acrylic or hard gel (debulking) , they used a dirty nail file on my foot and they burned my pinky toe and broke my toe nail while drilling my polish off. They apparently didnāt know how to remove gel polish cause it took them 3 different nail bits to try and remove my polish. They just grabbed a big piece of foil and a big strand of cotton and plopped it on my toes and crumbled the foil on my toes without it even being saturated or even being on my nails. They ended up using a dirty nail file to remove it and once I realized I ended up not even finishing my pedicure. I ended up paying for my boyfriend pedicure and half of mine because I only received half of the pedicure before I decided to stop the service. They were going to polish my toes without even filing my nails, doing my cuticle work or even cutting my toe nails. When I went to pay for my boyfriend service and mine, they were going to charge me for the full price of $105 even though I didnāt even get my toes done. Iāll attach the picture of the dirty nail file they wanted to use on me. Somebodyās needs to be contacting the state board of cosmology because it was super gross in there. Iāve never walked out and on a service before. And I would not recommend coming...
