Atlantic Breeze Suites — Hotel in Hampton

My husband, two children, and I stayed from July 30th to August 4th and it was amazing. From beginning to end. First, when I called and booked a few months prior over the phone they were so helpful and kind. When we arrived, we arrived a few hours early and they let me use the open restroom with the key prior to checking in even though my room was not ready and made us feel extremely welcome the moment we walked in offering some accommodations to take to the beach while we waited for our room to be ready at check in time. Both the exterior and interior is extremely clean and well kept. They do not offer in room housekeeping while you are staying there but offer many accommodations to keep the room clean and offer fresh towels and wash cloths each day provided you put the dirty basket outside of your room. The in house wash room is a wonderful addition especially if you have children! Although I did not realize that they do the hotel laundry in it from a certain time, I do feel like that should be better posted when I looked back and read it I understood but I didn't realize that it was shared with the staff. My apologies and many thanks to the staff that kindly switched it over for me! They even called me after we checked out to let us know we left something there which we were too far gone in our travels and I didn't answer so they left a voice mail. First off i would like to mention that we booked this hotel cause of the great reviews it received from trip advisor. So we were very excited for our stay at this hotel until we actually walked into our room.

The room my wife and I got was outdated and the carpet had stains all over. There were Coffee stains all around the dinette table and dirt stains in the living area. I don't think it costs that much to get a carpet cleaned. The bathroom towels weren't very clean either which resulted us in using our beach towels to dry ourselves after showering . There were a couple of Ceramic tiles in the kitchenette and bathroom that were loose and moved everytime we stepped on them which was a little dangerous. Also the tv remotes had some buttons that didn't work on them which was pretty frustrating as well. Our room definitely needed some maintenance. We couldn't get another room as there were none available for our stay

Although the staff was friendly and the location of the hotel was great I wouldn't book this hotel again. Ps......avoid room 304 and don't believe everything you read on...

We started renting weekly last December and our stay here has been wonderful. The manager, and the maintenance and cleaning staff, bends over backwards to meet your needs 110%. The owner occasionally works the desk and is courteous, helpful and attentive to your needs.

The rooms were well kept, halls very clean, and the laundry room was just the right size and tidy. $2 washers worked great. Always plenty of ice available outside the office, which is inside the hotel on the ground floor and across from the elevator (big plus with three floors above office). Well organized hotel.

Rooms facing rear of building are larger, with separate two bed bedroom and walk in closet. They feel like pricey suites. Rooms facing boulevard are smaller with bed in living room but have terrific ocean views. Both room types have a futon, plenty of chairs and tables, a recliner, and other furniture.

They show real concern for the patrons. Well worth the price, in fact, a real bargain for the money. You really feel like you're in a first...
