Flamingos Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Hampton

Final Update: The owner claimed that I waited a year to reach out. This is false. I made contact with an employee roughly a month after the the first response was made and was told "the owner will get back to you". I never got said response and made a few additional attempts which were met by deaf ears. It's clear that the owner feels the need to call me an extortionists as my experience has been shared by many. Save yourself the poor experience and go to an actual local business and not this trashy gimmick of a coffee shop.

Update: This past summer I returned to Hampton Beach and had made multiple attempts to reach out to the owner who was apparently unavailable the entire year. I gave the place a second chance with my own money and did not get any offer or compensation from the owner to do this. Wait times are still an issue as multiple customers either canceled their orders or walked out of the line before ordering. Coffee and food was fairly decent and the staff was fairly good and better then the year before. Still not a recommendation as there are better options in the area with better customer service.

Originally we were very excited to go here after hearing alot of positive compliment of the place. After placing our order, two sandwiches and a flight of coffees, we proceeded to wait roughly 20 minutes for our sandwiches. Following this was another 20-30 minute wait for the coffee. Meanwhile, as we sat in the corner, everyone else who had ordered coffees well after us had received theirs. I made the decision to walk up and politely tell the front cashier that we were still waiting for the coffee flight. After this, staff was very rude, staring at us as if we were the problem and made us feel uncomfortable. I do not recommend Flamingos to both locals and others at Hampton Beach...

Legit everyday AND special treat coffee shop Flamingos Coffee Bar is unforgettable. And this is coming from someone who could care less about coffee shops. Breaky total: $44 plus tip (note this price includes a coveted Instagram Coffee Flight for $23 - totally worth it by the way . A large normal hot coffee is only $3.05) Open: Year Round Seating: Indoor and Outdoor Parking: On-street. Pro tip, don't waste time doing laps around the strip looking for parking. Park at the meters by the beach closest to B street, pay the meter, and walk down B street. Order: Back To School Coffee Flight: Pumpkin Spice, Fruity Pebbles, Caramel Apple Latte, and Maple Chai, 1 Angry Donut, 2 breakfast sandwiches.

Pros: I thought it would be over priced and over-hyped, but I'm drinking my words. I honestly can't tell you which was the best flavor coffee, because they are all amazing. Coffee quality is smooth and like they do jokingly imply, way better than Dunks for the same or less money too (minus the flight option of course). I was not emotionally prepared for the Angry Donuts colab - do yourself a favor and grab a donut while here to avoid a trip to Newburyport for these legendary confections. Breakfast sandwiches were made with real eggs for the order 🤯 and on local famous 'Best bagels' chain. I did not expect to find a high quality AND budget friendly spot today, but that's exactly what they are. Already planning my return trip 🤤

Cons: There is no slow season for this place even once tourists are gone. Get here well before 9am to avoid a line to the street and missing the best donut choices on a Sunday.

Highly recommend there minGOs for a refreshing summer wake me up. I got the Jolly Rancher which was delicious. Their specialty lattes are so fun and spot on. I have tried the Rice Crispy Treat, Reeses Puff, And Gold rush. The names are on point with the flavors. Only flaw is the Iced lattes are warm. For me, I don’t care that much and will still order them! Bagels are delicious with the perfect ratio of bagel to cream cheese. Sandwiches are yummy along with the bakery items. Lots of gluten free options that taste amazing! I really enjoy going to flamingos but unfortunately the Hampton location is overstimulating. There’s people bumping your chairs, and standing around you while you are trying to eating. The place is not designed for the customer level they are at. The line to order is wrapped around the seating making it impossible to move around; to get to the trash or pick up your food. It’s extremely loud inside making it hard to have a conversation. Im grateful for the business they have as they do have great food and drinks. It’s just unfortunate you can’t sit down and enjoy what you got.
